Sonam Lamba opts out of Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya

Sonam Lamba, who played Vidya in Saath Nibhana Saathiya bagged a role in Sony TV's Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya (Shashi Sumeet Productions). She was to play the character of Meethi, a sweet maker by profession. However the news is that Sonam has opted out of the show now!!

Yes, you heard it right!!

A credible source tells us, "The character which was narrated to Sonam underwent few creative changes later, which prompted Sonam to opt out of the show.

Earlier the character was supposed to be brought on a bigger scale opposite Rattan. However, with the changes being implemented, the track has been changed.

The channel and makers are presently on the lookout for Sonam's replacement.

When contacted, we could not get through to Sonam.

May be they realised their blunder and dropped that idea and now they planning to use meethi just as catalyst in diya ratan love
