Really, is it just me or is each episode getting better and better? This show is picking up magnificently, the pace has picked up significantly, and it seems as if the characters grow a little more with every installment. This week too, the episode was complete, satisfying, and the best thing is that you never know what to expect (but that can also be attributed to Sony's horrible publicity and lack of promos ๐) It's worth appreciating that they can have so many parallel storylines running in the episode, do them all justice, and at the end of the day, make things come full-circle, delievering a complete episode rather than stray threads. Big props to the editing and writing team! Now, coming what happened:
Rohan vs. Farooq - My favourite track this week! ๐ When I first saw Rohan moaning over the blocked car, there was no inkling of where this was going...but the way it unfolded with the 'challenge' of exchanged cars, all the while supplemented by the khit-phit between Farooq and Rohan was fantastic ๐ I loved how spiteful they were with each other without any justified reason, Farooq saying that Rohan is the most 'batameez' ladka of the building, and Rohan picking on Farooq's age ๐ "Itne bade hoke kuch toh sharam karo," or "Agar tum pachpan hazar saal ke na hote toh mein tumhari soch badalne ki koshish karta." ๐คฃ Hats off to the dialogue writers for that pachpan hazar saal bit, the exaggeration was such a realistic nuance! ๐ Of course, I wouldn't say that to a senior even if I may be thinking it, but Rohan? Moophat, insensitive, and tactless ๐ ๐ But that's what makes him becoming, isn't it? He'll say what other people only think ๐ So even though Farooq and Rohan weren't the best of friends in the making, their interaction with each other made them learn something about life ๐ From their different standings and perspective, they made the other person see something worth appreciating. Farooq learned to be himself, to stop trying to please and obtained tea with the lady he had been pining after, while Rohan learned to love and treasure his car, to see it in a light he never had before ๐ One of my favourite things about this show is that Rohan is a character who seems to go through life experiences learning himself and teaching others too. It seems that more than any other character in the show, he's the one who learns something about himself or about people and life in every episode (:
Then came the 'Zindagi ne thapad maar diya' storyline. Dev

Akshay and Juhi, the cat lovers ๐ ๐ Who knew cats could be so helpful in burying hatchets? ๐ I think the resolution of this arc was a little vague, considering that Juhi was quite the 'rakshas' in Isha's own words ๐ However, both the actors did a great job, and even better than them was Sam, who was every bit the soft and adorable cupid that he seemed๐
Ashok-Naina? I was quite surprised that she agreed with him. Did anyone else find Ashok saying that Naina was acting 'childish' so wrong? If anything, I think he's being a little inconsiderate about her wishes. So I wonder...would any of you give up the dreams of marriage or kids for the man you love? Would there be a case in which it would be worth it? Did Naina accept the terms as of now, thinking that Ashok might come around in the future? Or does she really enjoy his companionship so much that she's ready to bid her dreams adieu?
Talking of those two couples 'making-up,' did anyone laugh seeing Isha's shipper-heart being so happy for them!? ๐ She really is such a sweet, genuine softy who wants life to be all rainbows, puppies and violins, at least when it comes to her couples ๐ Rohan's face when he saw Isha being so happy for Akshay-Juhi was priceless ๐ They are so starkly different...she was so happy and moved, and he was so unmoved by the reunion going on in front of them ๐ Later, when she saw Naina and Ashok making up, she looked like a little kid peeking in on her parents with those PJs. Love Isha, and love her innate desire to make and see everyone around her happy ๐
The Missing: It's been three or so episodes since we last saw Sally! Hope to see her back in action with her get-rich-quick schemes soon ๐ ๐ And I suppose Huzeifa 'Rashnaath' was in recovery? Looking forward to seeing him back too! (:
On the Rohan-Isha front, anyone notice that they went out for coffee? ๐ There were no clients to be seen, so it wasn't a business meeting, and the topic at hand was 'Avantika,' so it was very much personal. I think the fact that Rohan was talking about Avantika with her goes to show that their relationship does transcend to a personal level as well and that they are friends outside work, comfortable enough to talk about stuff like this with each other (:
And now that I've bored you enough, share what you loved and what you...err, didn't love about the episode! ๐ Were there any dialogues that made you laugh out loud, or any scenes that you thought were particularly awesome? Feel free to pick on any of the points above, mention anything that I didn't, and discuss the episode all inclusive! ๐
