Really, is it just me or is each episode getting better and better? This show is picking up magnificently, the pace has picked up significantly, and it seems as if the characters grow a little more with every installment. This week too, the episode was complete, satisfying, and the best thing is that you never know what to expect (but that can also be attributed to Sony's horrible publicity and lack of promos ๐Ÿ˜†) It's worth appreciating that they can have so many parallel storylines running in the episode, do them all justice, and at the end of the day, make things come full-circle, delievering a complete episode rather than stray threads. Big props to the editing and writing team! Now, coming what happened:

Rohan vs. Farooq - My favourite track this week! ๐Ÿ˜› When I first saw Rohan moaning over the blocked car, there was no inkling of where this was going...but the way it unfolded with the 'challenge' of exchanged cars, all the while supplemented by the khit-phit between Farooq and Rohan was fantastic ๐Ÿ˜† I loved how spiteful they were with each other without any justified reason, Farooq saying that Rohan is the most 'batameez' ladka of the building, and Rohan picking on Farooq's age ๐Ÿ˜† "Itne bade hoke kuch toh sharam karo," or "Agar tum pachpan hazar saal ke na hote toh mein tumhari soch badalne ki koshish karta." ๐Ÿคฃ Hats off to the dialogue writers for that pachpan hazar saal bit, the exaggeration was such a realistic nuance! ๐Ÿ˜† Of course, I wouldn't say that to a senior even if I may be thinking it, but Rohan? Moophat, insensitive, and tactless ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜› But that's what makes him becoming, isn't it? He'll say what other people only think ๐Ÿ˜† So even though Farooq and Rohan weren't the best of friends in the making, their interaction with each other made them learn something about life ๐Ÿ˜Š From their different standings and perspective, they made the other person see something worth appreciating. Farooq learned to be himself, to stop trying to please and obtained tea with the lady he had been pining after, while Rohan learned to love and treasure his car, to see it in a light he never had before ๐Ÿ˜† One of my favourite things about this show is that Rohan is a character who seems to go through life experiences learning himself and teaching others too. It seems that more than any other character in the show, he's the one who learns something about himself or about people and life in every episode (:

Then came the 'Zindagi ne thapad maar diya' storyline. Dev Glad they showed this mentality as it's something very, very prevalent. So there I was, being so sad for the 'Tujhe Dekha toh' chick, thinking that she was getting stuck with someone like him, when suddenly this show goes and pulls the trump card that always seems to be up its sleeve ๐Ÿ˜› The girl turned out to be the perfect foil to Dev Pig Batra, and Rohan's words of wisdom rang true: life settles scores ๐Ÿ˜› On another note, I wish sometime in the series we see Ruchika being more confident about herself, and being less gullible, more practical.

Akshay and Juhi, the cat lovers ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜† Who knew cats could be so helpful in burying hatchets? ๐Ÿ˜† I think the resolution of this arc was a little vague, considering that Juhi was quite the 'rakshas' in Isha's own words ๐Ÿ˜† However, both the actors did a great job, and even better than them was Sam, who was every bit the soft and adorable cupid that he seemed๐Ÿ˜›

Ashok-Naina? I was quite surprised that she agreed with him. Did anyone else find Ashok saying that Naina was acting 'childish' so wrong? If anything, I think he's being a little inconsiderate about her wishes. So I wonder...would any of you give up the dreams of marriage or kids for the man you love? Would there be a case in which it would be worth it? Did Naina accept the terms as of now, thinking that Ashok might come around in the future? Or does she really enjoy his companionship so much that she's ready to bid her dreams adieu?

Talking of those two couples 'making-up,' did anyone laugh seeing Isha's shipper-heart being so happy for them!? ๐Ÿ˜† She really is such a sweet, genuine softy who wants life to be all rainbows, puppies and violins, at least when it comes to her couples ๐Ÿ˜› Rohan's face when he saw Isha being so happy for Akshay-Juhi was priceless ๐Ÿ˜† They are so starkly different...she was so happy and moved, and he was so unmoved by the reunion going on in front of them ๐Ÿ˜† Later, when she saw Naina and Ashok making up, she looked like a little kid peeking in on her parents with those PJs. Love Isha, and love her innate desire to make and see everyone around her happy ๐Ÿ˜Š

The Missing: It's been three or so episodes since we last saw Sally! Hope to see her back in action with her get-rich-quick schemes soon ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜† And I suppose Huzeifa 'Rashnaath' was in recovery? Looking forward to seeing him back too! (:

On the Rohan-Isha front, anyone notice that they went out for coffee? ๐Ÿ˜› There were no clients to be seen, so it wasn't a business meeting, and the topic at hand was 'Avantika,' so it was very much personal. I think the fact that Rohan was talking about Avantika with her goes to show that their relationship does transcend to a personal level as well and that they are friends outside work, comfortable enough to talk about stuff like this with each other (:

And now that I've bored you enough, share what you loved and what you...err, didn't love about the episode! ๐Ÿ˜› Were there any dialogues that made you laugh out loud, or any scenes that you thought were particularly awesome? Feel free to pick on any of the points above, mention anything that I didn't, and discuss the episode all inclusive! ๐Ÿ˜›

Whoa... All that u say is undeniably true.
As u had rightly pointed out, it's Rishta.com's ability to show the gradual evolution of characters, realistic storyline and quirky, yet identifiable situations that sets it apart from other shows.๐Ÿ˜Š

The Akshay-Juhi track was excellent. U didn't have the couple immediately falling into each other's arms as soon as they realized that they were perfect for each other. Rather, Akshay sweetly gave away Sam toJuhi without a word which helped her realize that he is the right man for her. Their "cat fights" ( both literally and metaphorically๐Ÿ˜†) were a treat to watch!

TheFarook guy was really funny. The Farook- Rohan clash was truly one b/w the chivalrous gentleman of the old era and the cool, hippie man of the modern world. The way they help each other realize something about themselves was hilarious!

I was really glad when "Mandakini" turned out to be an outgoing, party loving gal that obnoxious dev didn't expect. Go, Ruchika!

And coming to Rohan-Isha...our favourite couple! The chemistry b/w them was as usual, gr8! But hope to see more interaction b/w them though.

Great post! Thanks.

Finally! Someone made a post on the epi! Woohoo! LOLL......Thank you, ftm_ca :P

Basically I'd say ditto to everything you've said about the epi and the show....this show keeps getting better and better and growing from strength to strength....I look at the rest of the YRF shows currently and this is the ONLY truly consistent show that's grown so amazingly throughout this season and been TRULY a class apart...no haphazard randomness that I'm seeing in some other YRF shows at this point *cough* MW *cough*

Anyways, coming back to this week's epi....LOVED Rohan's storyline with Farooq....I was about to make a post on it but you saved me the effort...thanks...lol....seriously this is one of the most entertaining things about the show....the way they show the principal characters interacting with new characters from time to time and the way it gives them food for thought and grow as characters....it is so interesting to watch....Rohan the king of rude basically got solid takkar from a khadoos buddha like Farooq who was just as rude and cranky with him....LOL...hilarious to watch....I felt a bit like Farooq LIKED the attention he got from irritating Rohan and that's why he always parked the car there to block Rohan's....LOL....I loved it when Rohan said, "Unhone mujhe chai ke liye isliye puccha kyunki main MAIN hoon" LOLL....Oh Rohan you're hilarious....and then came Farooq's challenge....haha....I loved the disgusted looks Rohan kept throwing at Farooq's khatara car....and in the end Farooq turned out to be right about the whole 'chicks dig you cuz you have a nice car' funda...awww poor Rohan....this is what you get when you pick up random floozies in a bar anyways :P ....LOL....My fav. bit though was the very end of this when Rohan goes to return the keys to Farooq and get his back....and when he's leaving and that lady opens the door and asks Farooq to help her with something again....the way Rohan turns back to look at Farooq and give him a look...and Farooq glances at him for a second too before firmly refusing the lady....lol...the shock on her face and the expression on Rohan's face....surprised and then, "Good job, Farooq uncle" haha....I loved that bit....they showed this storyline brilliantly in this epi....

Akshay-Juhi: I found the tie up to their storyline kinda random and rushed....but I loved how Rohan-Isha basically took charge in that one scene and told them both to stop lying and admit that they both still love each other....I especially loved the look that RoSha shared there just before they start to blast Akshay-Juhi...lol...that was good.

Loved Rohan's 'zindagi use thappad maar degi' line....and the way he consoled Ruchika over the phone....lol...I've been missing their 'hi mard, hi aurat' scenes now....their friendship is so cute....seriously that Dev was the archtypical double standards wala Indian guy....he so deserved what he got....LOL...I had a feeling the girl would turn out to be something different anyways...haha....these days you can't have anyone pegged that easily :P

Ashok-Naina: I thought it was really pathetic of Ashok to call Naina 'childish'....seriously why is she not expected to want to get married?? I thought that was selfish of Ashok to not consider her viewpoint properly there....and I was frankly surprised that Naina seemed pretty cool with all this....hmmm....I guess she does love him enough to take whatever companionship she can get....

Rohan-Isha's little 'coffee' date....LOL....Yeah it seemed like one of those rare times when they were hanging out without their usual scenario of accompanying their clients on meetings....This scene was really cute for the bit where Isha sarcastically comments, "Haan sirf paagal log hi padhai karte hain" and Rohan retorts, "Tum kiski side pe ho? Meri ya uski?" and Isha replies, "Ok, paagal hai" LOL....and later on when they both see Naina with some new guy and Rohan says, "Bechara Ashok" and all....and Isha gets all irritated and says, "Sab tumhari tarhaan nahin hote" or something like that....and Rohan goes, "Socha hum done ne wohi tha....I just said it out loud" and Isha's like no, maine aisa kuch nahin socha...even though she keeps looking back at Naina and the guy....LOLL....cute scene....I like these little bits they show of how they do know each other well in more ways than one :-)

LOLL@ Huzeifa "Rashnaath"....Rashnaath kahaan se bana diya usko bhai?? Rash ke saath naath?? Kinda random :P....Yeah he was MIA in this epi....I missed him too....but I guess his rash issues are a good explanation for him being gaayab....haha...nice to see Ruchika back though...and I honestly didn't really miss Sally...lol

Next week's epi looks intriguing with the whole 'second wife' storyline....I'm guessing both Rohan-Isha will have a LOT to comment about that....LOL

You should catch it as it was a great episode all around ๐Ÿ˜Š I think Avantika was just a one-time character, and Rohan did say the 'course' was over, meaning he's over her so there's not much she'd do even if she was around. As for whether he really did get over her, I think emotionally, yes. His ego might still be a little bruised since he was venting to Isha ๐Ÿ˜›

Cat fights, well played ๐Ÿ˜† Nice observation on the clash of different eras ๐Ÿ˜Š But even despite being old school, Farooq was the one to know that money is a magnet for women ๐Ÿ˜† Roha beta still has a lot to learn ๐Ÿ˜› But he does a wonderful job at it, and it's always a treat to see him have one of those 'revelations.'

Thanks for replying, great to have different input on the episode! (:

Where are those 270 people who want to 'save' Rishta.com, dude? ๐Ÿ˜ณ At least show your appreciation of the episode, people! And for all those who pressed 'like' and ran, I demand that you come back and at least share what was your favourite part of the episode! ๐Ÿ˜† Always saving you the trouble, no problem, nureat01 ๐Ÿ˜›

I think it's aided by the fact that the show doesn't have a continuing storyline. That might have been a turn off for some people as you had mentioned, but in the long run, it can be seen that the show fares well in terms of continuity without a plot that carries over. Some of the most famous and best shows had this going for them.

Anyways, coming back to this week's epi....LOVED Rohan's storyline with Farooq....I was about to make a post on it but you saved me the effort...thanks...lol....seriously this is one of the most entertaining things about the show....the way they show the principal characters interacting with new characters from time to time and the way it gives them food for thought and grow as characters....it is so interesting to watch....Rohan the king of rude basically got solid takkar from a khadoos buddha like Farooq who was just as rude and cranky with him....LOL...hilarious to watch....I felt a bit like Farooq LIKED the attention he got from irritating Rohan and that's why he always parked the car there to block Rohan's....LOL....I loved it when Rohan said, "Unhone mujhe chai ke liye isliye puccha kyunki main MAIN hoon" LOLL....Oh Rohan you're hilarious....and then came Farooq's challenge....haha....I loved the disgusted looks Rohan kept throwing at Farooq's khatara car....and in the end Farooq turned out to be right about the whole 'chicks dig you cuz you have a nice car' funda...awww poor Rohan....this is what you get when you pick up random floozies in a bar anyways :P ....LOL....My fav. bit though was the very end of this when Rohan goes to return the keys to Farooq and get his back....and when he's leaving and that lady opens the door and asks Farooq to help her with something again....the way Rohan turns back to look at Farooq and give him a look...and Farooq glances at him for a second too before firmly refusing the lady....lol...the shock on her face and the expression on Rohan's face....surprised and then, "Good job, Farooq uncle" haha....I loved that bit....they showed this storyline brilliantly in this epi....LOL, well said ๐Ÿ˜† I agree on Farooq doing that purposely, he seemed to be getting a kick out of parking his car behind Rohan's ONLY ๐Ÿ˜† Another dialogue that I loved:

"Tumne meri gaadi ko khatara bola!?"
"Tumne is khatara ko gaadi bola!?"

Rohan's pick-up techniques were LOL-worthy and as usual, full of lies. He really has no shame or criteria ๐Ÿ˜† The fantastic delivery of all the dialogues is definitely credited to Kavi and I've been appreciating his acting more and more these past few episodes.

Loved Rohan's 'zindagi use thappad maar degi' line....and the way he consoled Ruchika over the phone....lol...I've been missing their 'hi mard, hi aurat' scenes now....their friendship is so cute....seriously that Dev was the archtypical double standards wala Indian guy....he so deserved what he got....LOL...I had a feeling the girl would turn out to be something different anyways...haha....these days you can't have anyone pegged that easily :P Oh, you saw the Mandakini twist coming! I toh thought there's definitely such seedhi-saadhi girls around who get stuck in this kind of a muck, so didn't doubt her. Lekin, so true, if there's anything that this show teaches you, it's to not instantly base a conclusion on people, because boy, do they turn out to be tedhe and so much more complex and beyond the generic stereotypes. BTW, Mandakini, I loved that scene where she's singing in the restaurant, Vignesh hears and he's all like "WTF?" ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ˜† Working in a matchmaking company would ensure that you see all kinds of namoonas and then some that you didn't expect ๐Ÿ˜†

Meri ya uski?" and Isha replies, "Ok, paagal hai" LOL....and later on when they both see Naina with some new guy and Rohan says, "Bechara Ashok" and all....and Isha gets all irritated and says, "Sab tumhari tarhaan nahin hote" or something like that....and Rohan goes, "Socha hum done ne wohi tha....I just said it out loud" and Isha's like no, maine aisa kuch nahin socha...even though she keeps looking back at Naina and the guy....LOLL....cute scene....I like these little bits they show of how they do know each other well in more ways than one :-) Yep, that scene totally showed the point that Rohan will say whatever comes to him despite who it is about or who is sitting in front of him ๐Ÿ˜› One of the best things about him is that he's one of those friends (or not-so-friendly, in Farooq's case) who'll give you a harsh reality check and tell you the truth regardless of whether it is hurtful or not ๐Ÿ˜Š Loved Isha grudgingly admit that she too thought the same thing as Rohan ๐Ÿ˜† Also, I was surprised that Rohan called Ashok by his name, he really doesn't bother with titles and formalities ๐Ÿ˜†

LOLL@ Huzeifa "Rashnaath"....Rashnaath kahaan se bana diya usko bhai?? Rash ke saath naath?? Kinda random :P....Yeah he was MIA in this epi....I missed him too....but I guess his rash issues are a good explanation for him being gaayab....haha...nice to see Ruchika back though...and I honestly didn't really miss Sally...lol Rohan called him Rashnaath, dude ๐Ÿ˜† When they went to visit him at his house. As for Sally, I just love that they will even include the receptionist in the storylines, so it's fun for me to watch ๐Ÿ˜†

Next week's epi looks intriguing with the whole 'second wife' storyline....I'm guessing both Rohan-Isha will have a LOT to comment about that....LOL I wonder when the flashback episode is going to come along? Wasn't it supposed to be this week or next week? Whatever happened?

Thanks for sharing your comments, 'Nu

LOL Fatty....I get a kissie for sharing my comments?? Wow....meri life toh sach mein safal ho gayi :P

LOL@ you trying to get all the ppl who hit the like button to open their mouths and freakin talk....haha....I've been there...it's definitely hard to get ppl to start discussions in this forum....I'm glad you made a topic this time....can you make one after every epi?? I'll surely bless you with my ispecial comments each time :P haha

Ohhh so Rohan called Huzeifa Rashnaat/? LOLL Wow...I guess I never noticed....haha...ok this all makes sense then.....I was also surprised that Rohan called Isha's dad Ashok.....I didn't know this was happening in India too....I thought only ppl out here referred to ppl older than then by their first names like that....or maybe Ashok himself told Rohan to call him that cuz maybe he doesn't like being called 'Uncle' by anyone?? LOLL

Rohan likes to 'keep it real' it seems....LOLL...which I do enjoy a lot too....but I also love it when his lack of tact comes back to bite him on the a$$ sometimes :P hahahaha

Yep, I was suspicious of Mandakini from the beginning....she was acting a little TOO sati-savitri...plus the way she paused and hesitated when he asked her what kind of western clothes she wears and the way the Mom was going overboard saying how 'pavitra' her daughter is *rolls eyes* ....haha yeah Vignesh's expressions mirrored mine when I saw her singing 'tujhe dekha toh'...I was like...woah man....kya kya namoone hain...haha....although she did sing it nicely...she was in in tune....lol

Yeah I'm also wondering WHEN exactly we'll get to see the flashback epi...so far there have been no indications in the previews for next week :S....maybe that article meant that the girl had just shot for the epi and it won't air until later in May or something?? :S

LOL, maybe a kissie should be an incentive for all the lurkers to come out and post? Doubt it'd work either, though ๐Ÿ˜† I don't know why it's so hard get some activity going in this forum, I wish more people would pitch in, since there are obviously people who do like the show lots ๐Ÿ˜• Oh well.

Why, too must kasht (did I spell that write? ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜›) for you to make topics? You make, I make, someone else makes, koi toh discussion ho, bhai ๐Ÿ˜† Warna yahaan toh morgue jaisi halat hai ๐Ÿ˜†

Rohan's lack of tact does indeed backfire sometimes, like in the case of Twinkle. But it's also very helpful in dealing with people like Juhi, na? ๐Ÿ˜› Like Isha said, "She's very mean. You're also very mean," to justify that Rohan tackles her case ๐Ÿ˜† Aur bechari Isha ko toh she was totally bulldozing ๐Ÿ˜†

Maybe the flashback episode will be before the big drama starting in the 20th episode? Anyhow, the episodes before should be just as good, so the wait will be fruitful too! (:

You make, I make, someone else makes, koi toh discussion ho, bhai ๐Ÿ˜† Warna yahaan toh morgue jaisi halat hai ๐Ÿ˜† LOL you know yaar....in some ways I like quieter forums....atleast it's a welcome relief from the typically psycho forums of most shows *coughs* "youth shows" *coughs*๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†....but yeah, this forum is kinda morgue like...can you imagine there are ppl even lazier than US out there who won't bother making posts?๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜†....and yes you spelled kasht right๐Ÿ˜†...bravo mere bacche!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜†....anyways, I do try to make posts yaar....just that I sometimes get around to watching the epi a day late cuz I'm in a Bones frenzy on Wed-Thurs๐Ÿ˜†....but I try to do my part in here still๐Ÿ˜›

Rohan's lack of tact does indeed backfire sometimes, like in the case of Twinkle. But it's also very helpful in dealing with people like Juhi, na? ๐Ÿ˜› Like Isha said, "She's very mean. You're also very mean," to justify that Rohan tackles her case ๐Ÿ˜† Aur bechari Isha ko toh she was totally bulldozing ๐Ÿ˜† LOL oh I LOVED that dialogue from Isha....frankly I loved that entire R-I-H scene! There were these parallel random convos going on in that scene....Huzeifa talking about his rash randomly every 2 minutes, Isha teasing Rohan about being all smiley-smiley to himself...FAB scene....and yeah I loved how Isha told him that only HIS brand of mean can work with the 'rakshasi' Juhi๐Ÿ˜†....oh and that bit was so hilarious when Isha tells him, "Tum aise muskura rahe the' and gives him a little demo:

And then Rohan's like 'Cheee! Main aise muskurata hoon?"๐Ÿคฃ

Maybe the flashback episode will be before the big drama starting in the 20th episode? Anyhow, the episodes before should be just as good, so the wait will be fruitful too! (: Yeah, it might be around that time of high drama of the 20th epi only then....oh the wait is TOTALLY worth it, yaar! I freakin LOVE this show like anything! I repeat this atleast 5 times each time I'm watching an epi๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

LOL Anu, hmm, no fangirls here thankfully ๐Ÿ˜› Isha-Rohan ki loweee story start hone do, I'm sure people are going to start crawling out and gushing ๐Ÿ˜† It's a mystery to me yaar, there are 12 pages of the introduction thread, but it seems like everyone only wants to introduce themselves and then never talk ๐Ÿ˜† I can only draw the conclusion that people don't have a lot to comment on because this show is so on the mark in its entirety, compared to other shows that provide tons of fodder or need improvement so people comment on all of that stuff.

LOL, hilarious caps! Isha's imitation of his smile is sooo smug ๐Ÿ˜† And Rohan's all ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ˜† That scene really was fantastic, especially how near the end of it, the camera was just panning from one of their faces to the other and they were talking through expressions, wiggling/raising their eyebrows, etc. ๐Ÿ˜†

Totally agree on loving the show. Think I can safely say that this is the only show on Indian television right now that isn't full of nautanki and inconsistency, the only show that deserves to be watched ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
