'Rishta' due to Chandana/ Avantika

Dear all,
this is my first post here and also first visit to this forum.

Rishta.com is such a lovely show... (I now realise... )
But I had been totally unaware of this.....

...till I heard that Chandana Sharma aka Damini of love ne mila di jodi , is going to appear in one of the episodes of Rishta.com

And since then , I started watching this show in the hope of catching CS , and because she appeared many weeks after the news first broke, I ended up watching many episodes and HAVE NOW BEGUN TO LIKE IT AND WANT TO WATCH IT REGULARLY !

Thus, my "Rishta" with Rishta.com and with this forum has begun due to Chandana, and I am glad I discovered this show !

Chandana finally appeared in the last episode as Avantika .I loved her in her role, hope all of you liked her as well .

So, have all of you here been watching this show for a long time ? And how has it been?

I have been watching on and off since it started. I love the setting and it's really nice how they are shooting with red camera, which makes everything look fresh and more realistic.
Love the character development,. Huesfia(sp?), Isha , Rohan, Ruchika and their family and friends are really awesome! My heart goes out to Huesfia and Isha's troubles finding true love.
Ruchika reminds me of my sister , who is always trying to help me refocus and improve myself. Rohan is like some of the guys I have come across in college.

I wonder why is she called Chandana sharma now - her mom is Anjana Bhoumik, her sister is Nilanjana Bhoumik, she used to be called Chandana Bhoumik until a few years back, did she get married or something?

Nilanjana is now Nilanjanaa Senguptaa. She is married to famous bengali actor Jisshu Senguptaa and they have a daughter Sarah. And about the surname Sharma, well...Bengalis can use Sharma if they want to, they need not be married for that.

Welcome to the forum...

I was browsing through the avi siggy shop and noticed some Rishta.com siggies..The was enough to confirm that its isnt . confirmed usual eye-locky serial where leads have nothing better to do😆..

Started watching it and is a fan eve rsince..It could be the first serial in which I dont have a favourite..I luv them all..The journey has been wonderful..I hope sony realises the potential and give the show a 2nd season..

Yeah , now that you mentioned it, I also wondered why Anjana Bhowmick's daughter would be Chandana "Sharma" as I know she is not married yet....

but @ Aashmi's mail after that clarified the reason!

Well said - I totally agree with you that all people in this are equally lovable - I love them all for their own different styles and selves that they bring into the show and the crispy misture that they create together ....lovely show and lovely performances !

welcome to the forum. i love damini and she looked really pretty in rishta.com. she was acting so good. i miss lnmdj so much.

sony people really need to promote there show.

no wonder they dont have high trp

you are an example for it. you didnnt knew about the show. because there was no promotion of it. because there were no promo of this show in channels. you didnt even know it exsisted until you saw it because of damini and now you love this show after watching couple of episodes. i am happy that we got a new fan/vewier of rishta.com.
