Again loved the episode.

This time we had Farida jalal (Ruchika's mom) in the show. She said to Ruchika to wear clothes like evryone does in the end.
I was just wondering how many of u think tht it shud be "Jaisa desh waisa bhes"???
I live in Europe, evn though i wear shirt and jeans i don't show my body or something like tht. But i kinda think it was wrong of Ruchika to change herself SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. I forgot where she used to live in the serial, but ruchika's mom gave her salwar kameez to wear. And the way Ruchika is shown is kinda wrong i feel. Her clothes, those minni skirts her dresses and evrything abt her actually. Also the way she goes to parties and all.
Wht do u guys think?

Umm, i wont say it should always be jaisa desh waisa bhesh, but somewhere yeah. And more than that, its how you adjust to that place, and somewhere i do also feel that once you start living in one place for a while.. you start dressing and behaving like that. People change and people adjust :)

I get what you mean and how it's wrong to change so drastically. I think her wearing her short clothes and stuff is a personal choice though..

I've been born and brought up in Canada, but still ANY time there's an Indian function I jump at the thought of wearing salwars, lenghas and saris, maybe it's just me😳 but there are times when I wish I could go around here dressed like that, but all the constant stares would get annoying, it's not that I'd be ashamed of wearing it, I'd just get tired of ppl staring...

Ruchika however shouldn't have had to lie to her mom, I mean I'm sure her mom would've been okay gradually if she had worn jeans and shirts or something.

Great post tho! 😃

I agree on tht part, but it's wrong changing like u nvr came from the place u were born.
THt is how Ruchika is shown.
I was shocked to see the way her mom was.

Yup i personally think Ruchika was shown wrong the way her mom was. Also her lying to her mom was really wrong.
OHHH i agree evn i live in Denmark, and ppl stare like a monster came to the place 😆😆
But i don't jump at the thought of wearing. Evn though i have lived in Denmark since i was 2 months 😃. And also i don't wear salwar and all at klg. 😆😆😆
@Thanks 😳

well i think she might have changed since a city can change a person, and she'll have to adjust with the place!..so its her personal wish..just because she does'nt wear salwar kameez does'nt mean she's not an indian or not traditional..
but being from lucknow, maybe if she had 1 or 2 suits..it would be pretty normal..otherwise its pretty weird..she does'nt own anything..because jeans n all do'nt fit all occassions..

@Aish: I agree, because we've seen Ruchika with the Tulsi plant, which shows that she's still got some of those orthodox beliefs and she holds her religion and all that close to her heart. So we can't say that just on the basis of what she wears she's not Indian or traditional 😳

I agree 2 u 2, adjusting a place is fine, i mean ppl shud learn how to do it, i mean the ones who don't.
But the way she is shown doens't tell from no where she is from lucknow 😆😆
Also dresses don't tell either. Just her attidude shud have been different the way her mom was shown. I mean she was yellong at her mom and evn had tht DVD of call girl and all ohhh and the way she is on parties, boys and all😆

to some extent "jaisa desh vaisa bhesh "is correct.but sometimesw u have to go against people to to do what yo want.bcs the society is not always right.

Ruchika has changed heself but i don't have any pro with her wearing short skirts..............
what u should have is moral values that is the base of all cultures...........................and ya i don't like her attitude towards guys .....................it's clear that she is not a one man girl...
she also told Esha to change her dress when they were going out bcs boys don't like the kind of dress esha was wearing..if Ruchika is that modern then why does she thinks a girl should dress in a way boy will like her.first, one's thinking should be modern.
