I'm late, but I made sure I got here this week, after missing last week's episode and feeling completely at sea reading posts and more posts on how good it was...oh well...I did manage to catch it this time, and I have got to say that at least for me, this was Rishta's best episode so far...absolutely loved it for more reasons than I will probably be able to remember or count out here...but since I know most of us share the sentiment, I'll leave you guys to fill in the spaces I leave out...😊
Once again, the sheer subtlety of it just completely blew me away...they're not rushing into a RoSha love track, which was the first thing I'm very happy about...the second thing? It seems like they're already there, just under the surface...the dress, the wink, the smile, the unspoken understanding, like the bar scene where Isha compliments Sukrit on her dress and Rohan winks at her, and when Sukrit compliments her back, they exchange a glance and a smile...that apart, the consolatory koi baat nahin at the end, the nagging, the verbal fits of battle...Don't be nice to me, it doesn't suit you...all of it paints a very wholesome picture of friendship...and speaks of a connection at a level deeper than even they recognise yet, perhaps...the whole thing makes me, as a viewer, feel very good about the show and the relationship...I love the way they're building towards whatever they're leading to...niice...!! 😃
Rohan was excelllent...especially with Sukrit in the dinner scene...I'm not worth it...this is what I mean by the other side to a stereotypical casanova image...full credit to the script-writers and Rishabh Seth for the idea behind it all...and to Kavi, of course...he's brilliant as Rohan...👍🏼
And there was humour too...how can there not be, really...just another day at work, Isha trying to concentrate, Rohan playing music, Isha beginning to chat with an old friend and Rohan snooping in to see what she's upto with such dedication...lol...Kya hai?...*Isha embarassed, Rohan with a gleefully sadistic smile*...Is it a boy??...*Isha even more embarassed, Rohan having the time of his life*...Kaam karein?!..*Rohan apparently giving in*...Oh, sure, of course...*Rapid U-Turn mid way*...Is it a boy??...haha...😆
On the whole, I LOVED the entire episode...and am totally looking forward to what lies in store ahead...would love to know what you guys thought as well...
Take care and cheers!
Nandini 😊
P.S. This might sound weird, but I wanted to drop in a speacial mention to Isha in the Archives Room...tiny scene, but I thought Shruti did really well in it...including the part when she walks back into her office, dusting herself and trying to walk straight after the ordeal...hehe...😆
P.P.S. And in case you're wondering about the title, well, it's a dialogue that's been turned into a cliche almost, having been used to death in different forms everywhere...but I still find it very fitting for this episode...don't know particularly why, but it rings in tune with what the episode seemed to convey to me...😊

Nandani good to have you back 😊 Rishta.com seems like an incomplete experience without your post!!
I agree this episode has by far been the best episode and I hope there are better to come in the near future. Full credit goes to the cast and the crew ranging from Kavi, Shruti, the director, scriptwriters and the production team to churn out a classy product every week.

I loved every point you mentioned in your post, additionally I love that this show is portraying reality and we actually see Sukrit waking up in Rohan's house!

Thanks to the team of Rishta.com for portraying the reality and being non preachy! Consummation of relationship is no longer a taboo and thanks for treating it with class. Take a bow Rishta.com!!!

Hey Nandini! Great to have your post back where I can bhak bhak until I can bhak no more! Here I go...
I agree with everything you said.
The end.
Only kidding! Sorry, I'm in a real weird mood day. Monday blues...I think. Anywho...
I totally second the whole subtlety point. I'm so glad to be watching something on the Indian network and not have it thrown in my face. We all know what relationships mean, we don't need big gestures to prove it to us. A simple smile, a witty reply, a gift of a dress without a shout out in town...that's all it ever really needs and that's all that ever really happens. I'm glad that most of it if left to our imaginations, that brings a bigger smile to my face.
Rohan, as always, was a pleasure to watch. Kavi brilliantly portrays all the faces of Rohan: an arrogant jerk, a playful romantic and (most importantly, for me) a caring man. I loved the scene where he gifts the dress in a true Rohan style -no announcements, just go and do with a simple note. And the scene where he tells Sukrit that he's not worth it even though he's never felt about anyone like this way...very well done.
Isha - I always say this but it never fails to surprise me how well Isha knows Rohan. When Rohan tells her that Sukrit's going to NY, I'm was shocked how perfectly Isha knew what Rohan said. These two are just made for each other. I'm willing to wait to see them slowly ride into their future of togetherness.
PS - The title is perfect!

Heyy...thanks! And I so agree...every episode reveals more dimensions to Rohan than the previous one would have us think...it's one of those things that makes me look forward to each week as it comes...😊

Heyy Doc...!! 🤗
It's good to be back man...like I said, last week marked some almost painful completely-at-sea moments when I logged on to IF and came round to see how the episode went...but I wasn't going to let it slip this time...agree with every word you've said...full credit to the entire team for coming up with such a polished, well executed and heart-warming one hour every week...tw...😊
And you're so right about the consummation point...I think the taboo's been transcended so smoothly here, that most people might not even have noted the leap it marks in terms of thought process on Indian television...it's just so completely natural and logical that one doesn't spare it much thought, as an audience...which is the whole point...! I'll reiterate your statement here : Take a bow, Rishta.com!
Loads of love and cheers!
Nandini 😊

Heyy...!! 😃
And I'm so happy to see you here too...your bak bak always supplements my bak bak in a very good way...hehe...look forward to your posts every time...!! 😊
I could just about sum this reply up in the exact same way you first did...lol...because I do agree with everything you've pointed out...the subtlety, for instance...I really love how there's no excessive glamour or the need for any extravagant gestures to depict love here...human relationships are depicted at a human level; a level we can identify with in a very real sense...and that is something sadly absent from a major chunk of Indian television...which is not to say that some level of utopian, escapist fare isn't great for stress-busting, lol, but yes, something like this is such a wonderfully refreshing change...warms up my heart every single time, just by depicting people as they are, as we have perhaps ourselves seen them to be in our own lives...whether it's Rohan, Isha, Huseifa, Ruchika, and even the clients...and the relationship Isha and Rohan share is probably the most beautiful part of Rishta for me...they connect, like I said before, at a level deeper than even they understand perhaps...as friends, and maybe someday, a little more...
Take care and cheers!
Nandini 😊
P.S. Happy you like the title!

Gentle surprise (: For all of Rohan's suave act, dripping confidence and smart comments, you realize that underneath the surface, there is uncertainty about worth of self. He is indeed the touted casanova, but that same lifestyle is what has driven him to a stage where he thinks that he's not dependable, that he doesn't deserves a girl as good as Sukrit, that makes him restless about commitment. Like you said, there's indeed another side to every coin. Love the growing layers and facets to each character in this show...fabulously done.

Nice post!
