Jia and Shekhar are sleeping in their room when Shekhar gets a call . Its Dadi. She tells Shekhar to come home quickly as Nethra has tried to commit suicide. Shekhar panics and rushes without informing Jia. In her room Savitri is feeling suffocated because of the noise of crackers and she decides to sleep in the hall. In the hall she sees Shekhar talking to the doctor and asking him to rush to Nethra's house. Savitri feels jubilant that she has chanced upon such a development. In the Manas house Samar and Manas have a discussion where they both feel that they are friends at home but out in the market they are more competitors and they both will give each other a good fight. Doctor tells Shekhar that Nethra is out of danger and that he was called in time. Dadi thank Shekhar for coming. Shekhar feels a little sorry for Nethra. In the night Jia gets up and finds that Shekhar is not at home. She gets worried and calls Shekhar but he does not take the cell. Shekhar gets tense seeing Jia's no and decides to leave In the hall Savitri meets Jia and is happy to see that Jia has got to know about Shekhar's absence though Jia does not let her know about it. Dadi tells Shekhar about Nethra's turbulent past and that she is not a bad girl at heart but she is just too taken by him. Shekhar says he understand and tells her that he would have to leave. In the hall Jia meets Manas who has come to drop a tipsy Samar back. When he gets to know from Jia that Shekhar is not at home . He calls up Shekhar and Shekhar not knowing that Manas is calling form his house lies to him that he is at home and is sleeping. Manas feels a little odd that why did Shekhar lie to him.
