Boss goes for a toss

Television actors to do a spoof on Bigg Boss contestants at an award function tomorrow

Television actors are all set to do a spoof on Bigg Boss contestants as part of the entertainment programme at an annual television award function, on Saturday. Written by Ashwini Dheer, the spoof will be a take on a wannabe TV tycoon, who wants to do something big. And in a bid to re-establish his channel, he participates in one of the international TV festivals where he buys the format of Big Brother. The channel then hunts for people who are primarily doing nothing. Having got the participants, the show kicks off with a bang.

The spoof sees actor Sooraj Thapar imitating Deepak Parashar. He will be seen roaming about in a house, wearing a long gown and a hair band saying 'Yeh mera parivaar hai' (This is my family).

Shalini Kapoor will don Rupali Ganguli's get-up and will weep copiously. Ashiesh Roy will enact Bobby Darling's part. He will keep discussing how important it is for her to be on the show, which will enable her to earn money for her sex change operation. Bhavana Balsaver will imitate Carol Gracias's wardrobe as well as her poor Hindi diction.

And of course, there's likely to be a lot of abusive dialogues that will be edited out with beeps. And last but not the least, there will be a few intimate scenes to depict the brewing romance between Anupama Verma and Aryan Vaid.

Bigg Boss apart, there will also be a spoof on Prabhu Chawla's talk show.
