Seen the uproar in the forum, but personally I didn't feel surprised at all with the happening as this is exactly what I expected (and predicted). I even expected the episode to end on such a cliffhanger..
My only interest was in seeing how the trigger to Annaya was executed, I should say RG was very effective in his assigned (by Shreya) role. After watching the Shreya - Ananya confrontion, I wasn't very impressed, that didn't seem to be enough to provoke Ananya to commit such blunder. But RG's taunts did make a lot of difference. I am not going to justify or admonish Annaya for her behaviour. She had also been implusive and easily provokable, we had seen her losing temper in Bhagi track and even in human traffic case. It is certainly diappointing that the makers are not showing Ananya maturing as a journalist. Having said that, it wasn't the journalist Ananya who reacted rashly yesterday, it was the daughter Ananaya. RG was very very insulting about her father, and I guess it would have boiled any loving daughter's blood, and we all know that her father is Ananya's Achilles heel.
It is sad that most people do think death as a punishment, Ananya attempting to kill RG stemmed from this thought process, but death happens to everyone, how can it ever be a punishment, Ananya needs to realise that killing RG is not equivalent to getting justice for her father, the real justice is exposing RG and make him accountable for his crimes. Sadly she isn't able to think clearly and coherently. Ananya is trying to be strong inspite of what she had gone through in recent times, and it is backfiring, she needs to let her guard down and lean on to Kabir for support.
I credit the success of Shreya's plan to RG, but I wonder whether Shreya was trying to push RG too off her path by this move, what would have they done if Annaya did indeed shoot? Was RG ready for such a risk? Or by any chance the gun wasn't loaded? Perhaps Kabir should check the gun.. Oh, I am talking about the good old Kabir who is smart, who is manipulative, who can think two steps ahead of his opposition and that Kabir Sharma is nowhere to seen these days.. I was surprised with Kabir's handling of the situation, he looked paralysed, he couldn't shut up RG's nonsense, why couldn't he tell RG that the case is being investigated by police, and he shoud stop his badmouthing of SK. Kabir couldn't form any words other than 'shut up'.. I thought he was only tongue tied with Annaya, why was he shown so helpless with RG too?
I did predict of Ananya's suspension, now I wonder whether it is possible that Kabir could get the whole KKN in support of Ananya, everyone to deny that Annaya attempted to murder RG, something like what happened when Kabir by mistake used Ananya's name while interviewing Jyoti and how no one in KKN came forward to accept it. Perhaps Manav will remain mute too.
Annaya's confrontion of Manav, I didn't understand why she would wait for one whole day before attacking him on the maafi Nama ;). I think her comment about Shreya ditching him aftear achieving her goal hit the bulls eye with Manav, I don't think or expect that he will change sides, but he might decide to remain neutral and not be Shreaya's henchman anymore.
