Why Reporters is unique? What makes it so different from other serials?
I think, I got connected to Reporters from day one as it relates to me being a working woman. The office atmosphere portrayed in the serial is so natural. If you will look around you will find these characters nearby. Friends like Richa, Trisha, Sunny ( Ronnie is little rare) and as we are not as lucky as Ananya , Kabir is out of question but however we may have caring superior. Inevery office there is one or more Manav bhai who always feels that I am the only one who is capable and deserving but unlucky.
Any intelligent, hardworking girl can understand the pain of Ananya when her promotion is being linked with her relation with her boss and not all her sincerity, hard work is simply ignored. I think most of the working girls have gone through this phase. I feel very sorry for her on that day.
Spices like Malvika are also around us.
Each character in the serial has its own flaws and that's why each one is real and next door character.
One good message strongly repeated in the serial is love cannot be forced on any one and we should respect the feeling of the person we love.
Most realistic thing in this serial is the costumes; including Ananya and Kabir everyone has repeated the same formals /casuals as we do.
Engagement ceremony kept so simple as if it is just a family function of any middle class family.
Some unwanted twists and turns were avoidable.
If a finite series with strong story, avoiding all stereotype functions , marriages, re marriages on grand sale can attract audience to such extent that everyone following the serial was emotional yesterday knowing it is last day of shoot. Is a great success of Reporters Team . Hats off to them . And thank you very much for such a beautiful show.
