I live in the USA, and we have strict rules in helping organization employees seek help for mental and physical illnesses. We can't fire someone on the bases of sickness if he or she is doing a fair job. Yes, if the person tried to hurt someone on the job and the company has proof of it or witnesses or if the person committed a crime off the job and was arrested, then the company should take action.
