"Kabir Sir..." Someone called him & he turned back. Looking at the person he smiled as he remembered why he came out of his cabin.

"Ohh hi Trisha..." He called her feigning he just saw her. "Hope this plan worked out..."he mumbled

"Kabir Sir, kya bat hai..aap kuch pareshan lag rahe ho" Trisha asked

"Are nahi...nothing like that...main bas coffee pine ja raha tha...wanna join...for a cup of coffee..." he said & looked at her twinkling face.

"Wow Sir...kya bat hain...today The EIC Kabir Sharma inviting me for the coffee..." she said looking suspiciously at him for a moment. "Well, sure sir..aisa mauka bar bar thode na milta hai.." she added enthusiastically.

"Okay then...give me a minute.." he said & turned towards his cabin. "I am sure, Trisha will definitely spill the beans with just one cup of coffee" he mumbled entering his cabin.

Trisha turned & her eyes met with the questioning eyes of Ananya. "What...wo bas mausam ka hal bata rahi thi.." saying she shrugged her shoulders & went from there with amused look.

Cafeteria

Kabir sipped his coffee thinking how to ask Trisha about the matter. "So Trisha..." He started but Trisha interrupted, "waise sir...I am sure that without any reason aise hi kisi ko The Kabir Sharma ke sath coffee pine ka mauka nahi milta"

He looked at her smirking, "Actually I am also sure about one thing..." he said placing the cup on the table. "Trisha ke pas bhi updated information rehti hai...mausam ki...kyun?" he continued leaning back in his chair

"Hmm...hawa ka rukh main achche se janti hu sir" Trisha said placing her cup on the table.

"Hmm...smart ho..." he stated looking at her as she giggled.

"Aaj toh mausam bada hi beiman hai waise...bohat tej hawaye chal rahi hai...tufaan bhi aa sakta hai sir..." She informed.

"Ha...par hawa ke is rukh ko thoda moda bhi toh ja sakta hai...kyun" He asked raising his brows.

"Ab Coffee ke khushbu se hawa ka rukh toh mudega hi na..." she said trying to suppress her giggles. "But seriously sir I didn't expect this from you..." she added & frown appear on Kabir's face,

"Are Trisha ab bas karo yar...subah se sabne pareshan kiya hai...aisa kya kar diya maine?" he asked irritated hearing the same accusation once again. "Okay...aapko nahi lagta aap kuch bhul rahe hain...aaj ka din kaise bhul sakte hai sir aap..." she asked leaning back in her chair leaving Kabir in deep thoughts for a moment. His forehead creased & he shut his eyes tightly as the realization started sinking in him, his hand reached his forehead, "ohh god...how can I forgot...bohat badi galti ho gayi..."

"No sir...not a mistake...It's a crime...apni fiance ka Birthday bhul gaye aap.." Trisha said straightening back in her chair. "Ab sochiye sir kaise manayenge aap Ananya ko" she said looking at Kabir lost in thoughts & called Ronnie as she spotted him near the entrance of cafeteria.

"Trisha...yaha kya kar rahi ho..." Ronnie asked looking suspiciously at her as he approached them.

"Ronnie...look...sorry yar mujhse galati..." Kabir started but Trisha cut his words.

"No...not galati it's crime sir..."

"Okay Trisha...Crime...sabse bada crime ho gaya Kabir Sharma se...happy now.." Kabir said looking back at Trisha & then again turned towards Ronnie, "Ronnie please...ab tum dono hi meri help kar sakte ho..." Ronnie finally gave in & sat on the chair

"okay sir, bataiye kya karna hai"

Kabir discussed his plan with Ronnie & Trisha. "Okay Trisha...let me call Tarini for your help & Ronnie you go & get the keys...done.."

"Okay Sir.." Ronnie said & walked out of cafeteria to complete his task while Kabir dialed Tarini's number.

"Hallo Kabir bhaiya" Anurag greeted as he received the call.

"Anurag...where is Tarini"

"are yeh kya...no hi-hallo...kya bat hai"

"Are yar ek problem hai...wo Ananya ka birthday bhul gaya toh ab..."

"Kya...Kabir bhaiya...yeh kya kiya aapne...yeh to.." Anurag exclaimed cutting Kabir's words.

"Anurag please, ab tu mat shuru ho jana...already bahot sun liya hai maine...now please help me to amend this mistake...ohh...no not mistake it's crime alright..." Kabir added last words looking at Trisha & explained his plan while Trisha giggled looking at him & he glared at her disconnecting the call.

"Ananya...wait.." Ronnie called as he spotted Ananya walking out & she turned.

"Tinu se milne ja rahi hai?" he asked approaching her.

"Ha..why?"

"Wo...kuch documents the Armaan ke pas...regarding that college issues...bat ho gayi Armaan se meri...he said to collect those from the drawer of his study table...tu keys de, main thodi der me collect kar lunga... Ronnie said hesitantly hoping she wouldn't catch his lie.

Ananya stared at him for a moment before giving him the keys & then walked out of KKN. Ronnie turned & signaled Trisha to come out. He smiled looking at Kabir's cabin & nodded affirmatively before walking out.

"Kya Tinu, kab ayega yeh banda..." Ananya said irritated looking at her watch.

"Madam ji mujhe lagta hai ab wo nahi ane wala..."

"hmm...chal aaj ka din hi kharab hai mera...chalti hu main..." Ananya said randomly checking her phone & sighed. "yeh keys bhi Ronnie ke pas hai...kya karu...?" she thought & dialed Ronnie's number. "Hello Ronnie mai ghar ja rahi hu...wo keys kaha pe rakhi tune?" She asked as Ronnie received her call. "Okay I will reach in 20 minutes" she informed Ronnie & cut the call.

She reached home & saw Ronnie was waiting for her. "are bahar kyun wait kar rahe ho, andar baithte na?" she said as he gave her the keys & turn to unlock the door. She stepped inside & turned to switch on the lights, "Come Ronnie ek..." as the darkness of the room vanished her words stuck in her throat, and she got shocked watching the sight before her. The living room was decorated so beautifully & all her friends were standing there around the table, which was tinted with so many beautiful candles around & her favorite black forest cake at the centre. She stood there surprised for a moment when Ronnie placed his hand on her shoulder & she smiled looking at him. "Happy Birthday Ananya Di" Anurag exclaimed & she walked up to him with a smile but her eyes were searching for him & he was nowhere in sight, her face was glowing with joy but her eyes clouded with the sadness. "Thank you Anurag" she said ruffling his hairs lovingly.

"Hmm...Hmm..."

She narrowed her eyes as the humming sound filled in the room. Her eyes trailed towards the sound & all moved the both sides of the table clearing the view for her. The sadness in her eyes placed with the twinkle as her eyes met with his. He was standing there leaning back the wall behind, both hands placed in his pant pockets, with that killing lopsided smile...humming...

Hmm...Hmm...

Dehliz pe mere dil ki jo rakhe hai tune kadam...

Tere nam pe meri jindagi likh di mere humdum...

He sang looking intently at her, the look in his eyes & his emotions filled voice was making her go weak at her knees, and she turned towards her friends averting his gaze. The Irritation...sadness...anger which was surrounded her the whole day...melted in that moment...

She smiled looking at him while Tarini hugged her wishing.

He came towards her while picking up the bunch of pink roses from the side table.

She closed her eyes inhaling the aroma of flowers & shiver ran down her spine as his fingers touched her face while he tucked her curls behind her ear.

He holds her hand in his, her insides fluttered as he placed his lips slightly on the back of her palm. Smiling she moved back & bumped into Trisha. Trisha smiled teasingly at her raising her brows, "Mausam ke rang toh ekdam hi badal gaye...kyun?" she whispered & Ananya laughed shaking her head at her crazy friend.

O aasma mila jameen ko meri

Ananya turned towards him again & he forwards his hand, she placed her hand in his & he guided her towards the table.

Likh di mere humdum...

He walked towards the table holding her hand & all clapped happily as he ended the song. Ananya cut the cake & fed him first & then to her all friends.

"Ananya Didi yeh aapke liye" Anurag gave her the card which he made for her & she hugged him lovingly. The whole evening went in a chattering...teasing...enjoying in each other's company.

Suddenly Ananya frowned looking at her watch. "Kabir aapka bulletin..." She asked coming towards him.

"wo toh 9 baje...now it's 9:30" Kabir replied sloppily.

"But...kabir..." Ananya said but he interrupted,

"Don't worry Ananya...maine Khalid se bat ki hain...Manav adjust kar lega...aur waise bhi mere ek bulletin miss karne se KKN ko kuch nuksan toh nahi hoga but agar maine meri fianc ka birthday miss kiya toh toofan jarur ayega...Kyun Trisha..?" he teased her.

"Okay...sorry...maine kuch jyada hi react kiya..." She said pouting.

"Nahi Ananya...I am sorry...main sach me bhul gaya tha...& I am really feeling very bad...I don't know how I forgot...sorry...wo main..." He apologized & she blinked her eyes kissed the back of his palm as she said, "Thank you Kabir...you made this evening memorable for me...& thank you so much to all of you guys...I feel so lucky to have you all in my life..." she said turning towards her friends & they shared a group hug.

"chal ab jyada senti mat ho..." Richa said patting on her back.

"Chalo ab hume chalna chahiye...bohat late ho gaya..." Ronnie said & Kabir came towards them thanking for their help. All left soon wishing goodbyes to the couple.

Ananya turn towards Kabir as she closed the door behind. She stood crossing her arms on her chest & raising her brows, "So Mr. Kabir Sharma...now it's time for your punishment" kabir looked at her with questioning eyes.

"galati toh apne ki hain...phir saza toh milni chahiye na..." Ananya said & moved towards him

"Aur kya hain meri saza..." he asked as she wrapped her arms around his neck & his hands found their way to her waist pulling her close towards him

"umm...haan.." after thinking for a moment she moved her face towards him, their faces were inches apart, "kyun na..."she paused looking at him with teasing smile, "Mr. Sharma ke hatho ki ek coffee ho jaye..." she said winking at him & moved back.

He squeezed a bit on her waist, "Sure Ms. Kashyap..." whispering in her ear he turned towards the kitchen to fulfill her wish.

"Waise ek bat toh hain...yeh Coffee bade kam ki chiz hai..." he said as he poured the coffee in the mug. "Turn out to my savior many times" he added looking up at Ananya.

"Ohh...but Mr. Sharma is galat fehmi me mar rahiye...har bar main man jaungi...with this one cup of coffee..." She said raising her brows. He moved towards her placing the coffee cup back on the counter which he was going to offer her.

"So...I should have to think the other ways then" He said with mischief.

"Of course...you have to..."

"Hmm...then why not give it a try...now..." he said moving towards her, placing his hands on the counter at her both sides.

"Try...for what" she asked confused.

"The other ways.." he whispered in her ear moving her locks aside & removed her dangling earring swiftly.

"Kabir..." she called him dazed by his move.

"Sshh..." he placed his finger on her lips & her breath hitched. Staring at her flushed face he trailed his fingers to the length of her arm...& removing her all funky bracelets one by one placed his lips on her wrist not averting his gaze from her face. She gasped clutching on his shoulder. With his other free hand he fetched something from his pant pocket. She opened her eyes sensing something on her wrist. He moved back a little placing The Rose Gold look bracelet with the charms of two hearts & a star in middle, on her wrist. Then again he moved towards her & placing the dangling star in her ear, he whispered, "like it...Ms Kashyap..?"

She just touched the earring looking at his amused face...not able to utter any word...

"What were you thinking by the way..?" He asked raising his brows.

"Nothing...Mr. Sharma" pushing him a little she turned but he held her wrist. "There are many other ways Ananya...I would like to explore..." he said huskily kissing her earlobe, hugging her from behind...& she closed her eyes absorbing the new bliss in his warmth...

The Coffee was long forgotten as Mr. Sharma got busy exploring the new ways...with his Ms. Kashyap...
