Tonight I so wished to make a post on the one hell of a moment we witnessed between Shreya and Kabir but could not help and convert this post from a character centric post to an actor centric post. Because probably that was the magic of Rajeev Khandelwal as Kabir Sharma in those last 10 minutes of the episode tonight. May be a few dear fans of Mrs Patel may not agree but per me she really did not meet the level of the scene and if there was anyone who carried that whole scene proudly on his shoulders, it was Rajeev! I mean each frame of that scene had sheer "sexiness" written over it...From Kabir's smirks...to those "I so know you bit*h look Kabir gave Shreya" đ...to the sheer kaminapan in his eyes when he forced her to drink the supposedly poisened alcohol and finally to the tears of love in the determined eyes of Ananya's soulmate...RK simply took Kabir Sharma to another level today. And we fan girls were left swooning and fainting over each of his adaa âşď¸
Honestly I still so cannot get over his expressions till now...specially some of the scenes...like when Shreya rubbed his cheek and he looked at her with such vengeance in his eyes Ahh! You gotta kill me dude!! â¤ď¸ Or when he said..."Ananya kar sakti hai"...the invincible love in his eyes and the pain in his voice, it just melted my heart like wax on flame đł He was actually flirting with Shreya but his expressions, his body language all were shouting that how wary he was of her. He just loathed her proximity but had to play along just to show her true place to her.
So Hats off to you Rajeev for such a pitch perfect absolutely outstanding portrayal of Kabir Sharma...you simply owned each frame of the scene and probably no one could have carried that scene so brilliantly like you did. WORD!
