Anita, a pendulum?

Yes, Anita's character has been portrayed like a pendulum.

First Kabir discloses his love for her daughter, she is upset. Then she calls Kabir, talks to him and swings to the other side, accepts him.

Next when Shreya tells her twisted story, she goes back to the other side. Don't know what happened, how Kabir manaoed her, suddenly she swings to the other side and accepts him.

Now she comes to know that Kabir has hidden a truth, she swings back to this side. Insults him verbally and throws the ring at his face. Absolute misbehavior.

I'm sure once she comes to know the background she will swing back to the other side. Isn't it shameless?

Understood she is a human and a mother. I don't expect her to accept Kabir instantly after knowing the fact that he has been lying.

Understood Ananya is young and implusive.

Understood its Kabir's fault.

Understood that every character is flawed and real.

But as someone rightly said, the story is flawed here.

Given that in the first 2 instances, she was not fully convinced and she agreed only for her daughter's happiness. But in the human bomb incident, she was projected as if her eyes have opened and she was fully convinced and accepted Kabir completely. She even apologises to Ananya for doubting Kabir after human bomb incident.

Now again swinging back to the other extreme?

A matured lady who saw with her own eyes, how a man risked his own life for her daughter, isn't she atleast expected to think that there must be something serious why Kabir has behaved so? Even in the forum everyone expected her to give the benefit of doubt to Kabir and make Ananya see some reason this time. Her young son seems to have a better vision. She doesn't allow him to speak too.

Please don't tell me that this time it involves her husband and it's a normal reaction. If we go on justifying every act as a normal human reaction, then we are in a denial mode. We'll never learn. Life gives everyone opportunity to learn and move forward. Not move backward. There's a flaw in characterization here.

#Reporters for some reason is deviating from its course, I feel. May be the channel is not supporting their ideas. And they are forced to become mundane. If that's so, then it's a sad scenario for Indian television. We, different audience, will never get to see what we legitimately want.
