Hi Guys,

As I was thinking over the mystery of SK, one thought suddenly struck into my mind... can any person's email account remain active in spite of being not used for more than 8 years? I am sorry I am not a net expert.. Hence, putting this question in front of all of you. since, if I am not wrong its a slim possibility of account being active... what say?

This was discussed during weekend...sumbdy wrote it must be work related email id ...thats y still active not deactivated...

Had raised the same doubt after the episode was aired. I feel it might be his work email and retrieving it would have been easier !! But, this can also narrow down the possibility of the mischief makers to be from the company and thus won't be a smart move on Shreya's part!

Also, Geetha clarified that different mail services use different norms for the dormant accounts. Some mail services claim they deactivate the account after a period of dormancy, but they don't always do that. And these days some mail services have the policy of releasing the ID of deactivated / cancelled accounts after few years, that means someone can create a new account with the same ID.

So maybe a new account was made using the same ID that SK used in the past but the question is how did Shreya get to know about his ID?

If it is work related then sure his id is alive. Shreya hiring a person in-charge of that company email account dept is possible.

some mail services releases mail id which are dead for more than few years. id can be created with same name by different person. in this case, Ananya receiving mail in same name of her father will surely confuse.

ID could be created by Shreya. tips taken from recent hot case running in india.

IT professional mentioned about firewalls protecting IP address. in this way, surely it is sent by someone under the instruction of Shreya.

I myself dont know if SK's account is active or not...
but I surly wonder that how the hell ananya didnt think that if her father is held captive, from where he got internet connection and even if he had, how he knew Ananya's email ID...
thats a very private thing for a reporter...and definitely not published on sites

and funniest part is.

father sending mail next day of her engagement. he didn't wish her. but tells her he didn't commit suicide.😆

Kabir did raised question to Ananya. but she is not in sense to think now.

after 8 long years, a man who got chance to sent a mail to his daughter, instead of telling as much as he can, he just types one line and keeps his daughter again in mystery.

Ananya, wake up your reporter brain. shut off your emotion for a while.

I agree...
I so wish Malvika had been more precise about Shreya-Manav plan than just passing hints...
it could have save the burn...
n ananya, no matter how awesome reporter is...when it comes to her father, she lost all rationalities...n 7th sense

I agree completely. thats the reason, I raised this question... even if SK was held captive, isnt it a big coincidence that he mailed Ananya on the next day of engagement? In fact, this coincidence is too big to be a coincidence!!!

in fact u can actually send email from any email account. u just need an email server. actually sender address can b anything. that's how all spams generate that fool u to share bank pwds etc.
