I believe in every word Kabir has spoken except.

I wholly trust all the words that Kabir has said till date except for one thing. When he said that 'kisne kaha tha mujhe dobara pyar mein padne ko', I was taken aback for a second because somewhere I had thought that it was a 'marriage for convenience' for him due to family pressure or some other reasons and that there was no love between him and Shreya. Nonetheless, I kindly accepted the detail when it was thrown to us by him as I did not see anything wrong in that. But today I am forced to say - Dude!! Seriously? Do you really think it was love? (I agree he loved the feeling of being loved by someone but he did accept that gradually he fell in love with her only to realise that she never loved him)

You were cleverly manipulated into believing that it was love by spurious overwhelming attention and affection. I would in fact say that you were intrigued, enticed or captivated towards someone who deliberately made you feel special through constant persuasion and impressed you with her charm, charisma and conversational skills.

I cannot blame you for giving that woman a chance because you were showered with over the top attention, made to believe that you both are compatible by molding into a persona to match yours and convinced that it was love through grand gestures of appreciation and affection.

Sorry to say but I don't think it was love! You were just made to believe it was and damn that woman succeeded in doing so because you still believe that it was love'.

PS - Sorry guys for choosing such a title for this post. I am sure your first reaction after seeing the title would have been 'WTH' 😆. Don't get me wrong - I am truly a KS pankha and a KaYa shipper, I shapath 😉😆 (people who are acquainted with me must be aware about this 😳)

But I also think that the writer changed his mind about Shreya being the first love after slight protestations by the fans so they slightly altered the script to make it sound like he fell in love with idea of love

Maybe they altered the script! Maybe it was meant to be this way right from the start! We knew Shreya was the culprit in the marriage but nothing was made too obvious and thus we had so many versions of his past but none of us could ever imagine it would turn out to be about a 'bet'.
