Gosh, we have had numerous discussions over how this couple is so mature (in a real way and not in a reel way). There are aspects to this relationship that, I am sure, a lot of people will relate to in real life. Be it their bond professionally, their heart-felt confession, their post-confession dynamic or their simple/subtle way of handing their problems (both their own and each others too).

I am currently behind on over one-month of Repoters episodes. So I decided I will watch them all together after this season ends, but I have been keeping up with the show because of updates from u n Megha 😳 and So far, the only thing I regret is that I even took a break in the first place

Your post, needless to say is excellent 👏, and you have indeed chosen a very apt (or rather symbolic) episode/moment to make a post for KaYa.

When the show started, they showed Ananya as someone who has integrity in what she does, but at the same time impulsive (and to an extent a vigilante-journalist, because of her father's case). Even in her moments of impulsiveness when she looked childish, she was still in character for someone so young. If you'd have told me a few months ago, that she would end up being a rock for Kabir, I probably wouldn't have believed it. And therein, lies the wonderful progress of the character. She's GROWN and keeps growing because of her love that is now reciprocated. She still maintains her youth, charm and childishness, but she also knows when to pull herself (and Kabir) up when the situation demands it.

Coming to Kabir, he's always been a shrewd man, manipulative when he needs to be, rude to people who cross him, and loyal to the people who have been with him. He was initially portrayed to be a man who was more or less like a rock. He could sell ice to the eskimos, and he could sway any opinion that differed from his. He didn't seem to have any personal life, except a kid and an old friend, but he still seemed to keep the 2 worlds completely different. Again, if you'd have told me a couple of months ago that this man would end up showing his vulnerability to anyone (even Ananya), the way he did in this episode, I wouldn't have believed it. His relationship with Ananya has made him softer (still maintaining all his hunger, ambition in parallel), and his biggest growth as a character lies in the fact that he let his guard down in front of the person he sees his future with.

You have very correctly said everything about their characters, the growth in their story and the strength of their love being the one thing that will pull Kabir out of his past. And thank you (🤗) for highlighting the part about Ananya not really wanting to know about his past but how his past affected him. I wasn't really sure when she was refusing to hear anything about his past (in the post-confession scene).

Their love story hinges on balance. One person doesn't need to be fixed by the other in an absolute way, and darkness in one's life doesn't make them a lesser person. One person heals the other when it's needed, and with deserved respect to the other person's pain/hurt. We saw this when Kabir helped her realise about her father's case, and she is doing now, when he is confronted by his past. And which is why, every interaction of theirs seems like a repeat of confession of their love, a sort of reinforcement of their faith in it.😳

You have made me write so much again😡... and I want to write much much more...

As usual brilliant post Nikki di. Honestly I am still too absorbed in the ebauty of the KaYa moments we had last night that its a bit difficult to reflect everything I felt while watching it but still since I cant even remain without letting it out...I hv to comment here! 😳

Coming to the epi, I think it was the most beautiful, meaningful and the most amazing episode of Reporters by far! We had always talked about her helping him come out of the shackles of his past and it was exactly what she did last night. You know what was the most beautiful thing about last night...Till now we saw her refusing to hear out his past, which was more or less a deliberate effort on her part to save him from going through the same hurt again just to prove his point to her. She couldn't scratch his wounds and let him bleed just to soothe her insecurities/fears (which I am sure like every girl somewhere she too has). But last night when she realized that he needed someone to hear him out, he needed someone to give him a patient ear and let himself liberate from the bottled up emotions, she didn't refuse. She let him pour his heart out to her and be his pillar of strength! Then also she was trying to save him from the pain, and now also she is helping him come over his hurt.

So she let him give his explanation for keeping that handkerchief and simply put a very reasonable question in front of him, that does his hatred still drive him to strength when he has the power of her love to hang onto...to drive strength from and to rely upon. The best part abt the whole scene was she didnt become preachy at any point, she didnt lecture him about how he was wrong to let Shreyas negativity be with him and become hsi driving force. She simply understood his stance and respected it but just gave him a better reason to move on, finally that he has her love now? And dude wasnt it simply ethereal

Mr. Sharma was stumped and mesmerized by the depth of her love. It was so clear from his expressions this man had never felt such love ever in his life. The longing in his eyes...the way he held onto her in that hug with so much of passion...the way he became vulnerable telling her how he isnt even that strong...the way he didnt want to let go of her...and the way he was left dazed when she gave him a peck on his cheek...everything speak volumes about how much this man was living in these moments. And KUDOS to RK for portraying this side of Kabir with such perfect finise, I could almost feel Kabir sighing with his each breath as she continued to slip the floor beneath his feet with her unconditional love.

And though he said he isnt even that strong and she so beautifully told him that how he is her strength, they dont even know what they have done for themselves during this one night. For this one night she has given him, Mr. Sharma would go to the end of the world for her. Now his resolve of holding onto and protecting Ananya and their relationship from Shreya's claws will be 100x stronger 😃 Honestly it felt the way she handled him withso much maturity, it was the most natural thing she could do, but the beauty of this is in the fact that what she so simply did for him, she cant even imagine how magnanimously he is gonna reciprocate it... You are in for the most amazing and romantic ride of your life MS. Kashyap...this man will indeed love you so much that you will become addicted to his LOVE!! ☺️

And last but surely not the least, thankyou so much cvs for this one heck of an episode you gave to us. IT simply proved that KaYa, much before us are your inspiration, your brain child and your muse and hence you will always think about them one notch higher than what all of together can imagine! HATS OFF and Thankyou...thankyou for giving our KAYa a totally new meaning...so much more depth and making them another step closer to being etched in our memories, for years to come <3

I am just loving Ananya, her portrayal is quite close to reality. More than Kabir, she comes out as a strong person (emotionally) n I truly love this attribute in people.

Its quite surprising that she is not insecure when it comes to Shreya. She understands Kabir and knows that he needs time to forget his bitter past. She knows that behind the facade of grim, brooding and no nonsense Man is a man Hurt because of something that happened in his past. She can see through Kabir and knows the real Kabir behind that veil of a Powerful and successful Editor in Chief. She knows that when there is Love there should be no space for Negativity or Hatred and KABIR was keeping it close to his heart so that the rage wud help him become a successful man Professionally, but little did he knew that this rage was burning him too in the process.

While Ananya is helping Kabir with his past, Kabir helped her in keeping her relationship intact with Richa. He simply cud not have bothered about Richa who has a strong opinion about him, but he did it coz he knew how it was hurting Ananya. 😳

Its like these two are perfect pieces that complete a puzzle. They complete each other in every sense and without even talking it out loud, they know what hurts the other. 👏😊

The thing I love about your posts is that its so colorful.
Makes the read all the more appealing.
Your expression of emotions and love has always been beautiful.
You get the emotion 'love' quite well.

Well I am yet to watch the epi but I definitely looks leap of faith kinds.
Love does work wonders if the person is right or you end up screwing your life.
Kabir has had both experience and yes healing is a process and Kabir is being healed.
Its so good to see a sensible, in control Ananya who can handle all the situations maturely.

The remaining KaYa journey is gonna be interesting both character wise as well as couple wise.
Wish such good shows were made more often.
