Prologue

Kabir ran into the hospital. He saw Anita, Arman and Ronnie crying helplessly. Ananya was sitting slumped on the hospital bench.

Kabir: How's Kunnu now?

He looked at everyone beseechingly. But none of them spoke a word.

Finally he walked towards Ananya and placed his hand on her shoulder. Life suddenly entered her body. She stood up and looked at him.

Ananya: My baby is gone! You hear that?! He is gone. He was in so much pain. But all he kept asking for was his father. His father of course was too busy chasing professional glory.

You hear that Kabir Sharma?

Our son... correction... my son is gone. He is dead.

She slumped back onto the bench. Kabir broke down crying. A few minutes later he knelt down near Ananya and placed his hands on her lap.

Kabir; Ananya I...

She pushed his hand away.

Ananya: Along with my son, our relationship died too.

Get out from here.

Get out.

Ananya never came back to their home. She never spoke to him after that. He tried explaining himself, begged her for forgiveness but she didn't relent. She didn't want him to attend the funeral either. Thankfully Anita intervened and made sure that Kabir got a chance to bid farewell to his beloved son.

A week later Kabir received a msg with Ananya

"I am leaving this city with Ma and Arman. Don't try and find me. It's pointless."

Ananya was supposed to be Kabir's second shot at life. What happens when she leaves him and goes away?
