I am really amazed at the way the plot is shaping up. đ
My reaction you ask? Yes, I was disappointed when the impending track of misunderstandings was was discussed. My first thought was about how this story might get ruined by this overly exaggerated, cliched development. But the build-up clearly proved me wrong, resting my inhibitions. It was intricately handled, I say.
Misunderstandings are an indispensable part of relationships. They are born because of our own foolishness, our naive side which at times denies to understand the other person's own circumstances. We are to blame ourselves, yet the very first thing we do is shift the blame over the other concerned person. Deep in our minds, we are confident and expect submission. Ananya may show certain sparks of courage and maturity at times yet she is still as much naive, little girl at heart. She was quick to blame Kabir for his impulsiveness about breaking the news of her father. Never did once did the thought cross her mind as to under which conditions he'd taken this drastic step.
Nah. She is not dumb enough to not reach at a conclusion of her father being dead. She was as much in denial mode as her mother. Ignoring and denying the very truth she should have confronted years ago.
On the flip side, lies our Kabir - a man of few words. After experiencing a traumatic past, alcoholism and abandonment, he fears to trust anyone. A frightening thought haunts him constantly, that makes him push Ananya farther away from himself. He is afraid the same set of events may repeat if he let himself sway in emotions.
One thing disturbed me though. She'd been sad, mourning, trying to come with terms with the present scenario. Sudden revelation about her father's death had shaken her to the core. She blamed Kabir for it, going as far as shutting herself away.
Blaming someone really makes oneself feel relieved at that particular moment, yet it complicates even the simplest of things later on.
Today, with renewed zest, she was back at KKN, clearly oblivious what her actions have resulted into. Her attitude showed no remembrance of earlier events.
Still the question remains.
Is it Love? Not really. Not yet.
Ananya has realized his importance but still the hero worshipping and fangirling self over powers her rational thinking. She is prejudiced, jumping to extreme conclusions.
Whereas, he still chooses to deliberately ignore the intense emotions that have already nestled themselves in his heart. He is, in a way, afraid to accept.
Life is not always black and white. Those subtle shades of grey make their presence felt. Differences prop up, confrontations ensue.
Kabir and Ananya have a long way to tread, a way filled with huge hurdles and obstacles. With an unbreakable bond, they will overcome their own inhibitions and notions to accept each other.
I am thoroughly enjoying this unconventional journey. Simply because it does, in a way, highlight the utter importance a relationship holds, it's complexities and sweetness. đł They will develop romantic feelings, slowly and gradually, as both confront each other with their flaws.
PS. I see a KaYa shipper in Khaled. â¤ď¸
He may appear but he knows, understands and sees more than others can. Of course, his first priority is numbers and trps. If uniting kabir and ananya is going to gain him the coveted no. 1 spot, he'll leave no stone unturned to make it happen.
We had another revelation today. The Kabir Sharma is dead afraid of injections? Really? Seriously? This guy doesn't give a damn when held at gun point yet cringes as a injection awaits. đ
On a serious note, he is indeed the most damaged and hurt. He needs Ananya by his side to cope up with this utter darkness inside him.
