I was just watching the episode again. Kabir's phone buzzed when he was at the gate with his brother which is followed by the "do you still drink?" scene.

Ananya then sends a message saying that sorry apko bura laga ho toh.

So they dint show us the text that she sent before the sorry message. I have a feeling that she might have asked something about Shreya or his brother as they all were discussing that aspect of his life at Ananya's place.

I may be wrong..

What do you guys think?

Edting mistake is possible, but then sending a sorry like that just for 'me apko disturb nahi karungi' feels weird. Where as asking about Shreya/brother, realising that she has asked too much and then a sorry makes more sense. 😲
