Stuff That Stood Out- 11/06

After the past few action-packed, heavy-duty episodes, today's was a light and slow one... kind of had a 'unwinding after a long day' feel to it. So some stuff that stood out for me are:

- Ananya passionately narrates what happened (with more emphasis on Kabir's role) and Sunny ends up doubting whether Ananya is spinning tales and wanting to confirm it from Kabir... 😆. Btw, Sunny seemed to be the only one who seemed really into the food.

- Kabir gets invitations for two dinners and declines both. It was good to see Kabir cook his food. The SMS-exchanges between the two new friends was nice.

- Kabir calls up and invites his brother for dinner. They both definitely seemed to have drifted apart due to some reason. But they do care for each other. Looks like this incident with Kabir being captured has helped the two brothers to mend things back slowly. Glad for Kabir that he didn't have to have a lone dinner after the ordeal he has been through.

-Kabir's brother asks whether he still drinks... so looks like Kabir had a drinking problem. I wonder whether this was after the divorce fiasco or whether the drinking problem had something to do with what happened in his life.

- Ananya's mother questioning about Kabir's ex-wife and the others discussing it was out of the line... . The talk about how they didn't know Kabir had a brother was ok but discussing his divorce and the scandal involved was just wrong... I don't know why Ananya's mother brought out this topic... it just seemed strange to be talking that way about daughter's colleague and that too, with other colleagues...

Mothers have a sixth sense - she may have sensed Ananya's unsaid attraction to him - as a mother she would be concerned about his past - when I say this I have no issues with him being divorced - it's the person that matters. Non divorcees can also a past.

I agree they had no business discussing his personal issues

Yeah, that could be it. With the way, Ananya went on and on about Kabir, I guess Mrs Kashyap couldn't help but remark about Kabir's past. Although I didn't expect her out of all people to bring up Kabir's personal life since she must be knowing how it feels when people pass judgements on others (with regards to her husband's scam case). And that is why this just seemed all the more wrong.

Finally, after 50-60 days we got to see Kabir's house ( or kitchen I should say) The CVs are slowly beginning to tell Kabir's side of the story.

Yeah, we got to get a glimpse of Kabir's personal space...
