Thats whats going to happen most likely. But I have two issues with the synopsis-1) isn't it a little too convenient that a drug raid occured so quickly for Kabir to Use that story as a replacement for Mahi's story? Okay Ill agree that drug raids happen quite a bit in such top cities but a celebrity drug raid?? It seems a lil too easy.
2) Kabir gives Richa the responsibility to cover this story. That makes me think that maybe Ananya has lost a bit of the credibility that she had gained with Kabir by being so unprofessional in this case. Now more than how Kabir will cover the story, I'm wondering what Ananya will do to prove her stance in this matter? Because as Kabir said, he will run the story with her or without her.

Not just that. Kabir is not as ruthless as he appeared to be in the last episode. By running this story, they will give time to Mahi to recuperate and he will run her story later.

Yep! But I have a feeling, Kabir had planned it all along.. Laxman was following Ananya, so he obviously knew that she had rescued Mahi and taken her home..

And so to speak, Kabir did not look surprised when Ananya admitted to it being a fake lead.. He only demanded to know why..

So, maybe Kabir already had Laxman working on the 'raid,,'

The other possibility could be that they already knew about this hotel, and celebrities being involved in it, but it is now that kabir decides to make a headlines out of it..

As for Ananya's credibility : I do not think she's lost Kabir's trust.. But yep, as a professional she will have to prove herself by trusting her Bosses.. And that is why I feel Ananya will bring Mahi to Kabir, maybe a day later.. And then the onus will lie with Kabir to not let the women down..

Ah very good point, Kabir always thinks ahead and even in Nidhi Rane case, he had his own sting operation going on to reveal the truth of the case. So it is quite possible he has other tricks up his sleeve already.

Yes that's what I meant. On the professional front, she has dented the trust Kabir had in her by firstly the questionnaire and now this. Atleast with the questionnaire he thought she was being a true journalist but now denying Mahi's case and displaying a certain lack of trust in her boss has disappointed him.
Actually I would like Kabir to come to Ananya's house to meet Mahi because I dont think Mahi is in any state to be bought to the newsroom so it would be better if he comes to her house and it might also bring out Ananya's past.

Getting Mahi was just one of the things. Kabir planed Laxman to probably track this gang/mafia who have been behind all of this... He probably wanted to run both the stories together... But now he will run one at a time...

@ Red - It was not a drug raid... But yes, I agree with you.. It takes more to conduct a raid and there are risks involved... Also any gang/mafia will not handover someone (in this case) Mahi just like that... Because there is risk of getting caught in doing so.

That seems most probable track, but it is not so easy to track down mafia gangs and get proofs on them. They tend to have a lot of connections in legal sides too but I guess they might not go so deep into that.

Yup! I used to watch a show on sony quite a long back called Powder, it was one among the set of shows started by YRF and it dealt with drug trade in India. It was a very good show and it really went into detail regarding how they handle such businesses and how the police works too.

Kabir feels angry on Ananya because she didn't understand his plan. he is calm inside Khalid room infront of Malavika. he could have showed his anger in front of them why he controlled himself and dragged her out of cabin.

he doesn't have habit of sharing his plan with others. he saw Ananya catching his every move in last case. so he thought she understands his moves. but she took decision on her. she should have informed her thought to her boss.

he answered her questioner even though he reacted differently to her. he expects the same from her.

he calculated her as sensible person and trusts her. he expects her to share her decision and work along with him. somewhat he expects her to read his mind.
