Kabir at KKN - 15/4
So, Kabir's here. Manav is upset.
Malvika has some school girl crush on him, and has clearly brozoned Manav. Poor guy. Ananya is nervous and excited that Kabir's here. He is her idol and It is her dream come true.
Kabir's at the newsroom and he is instructing them to play the footage on loop. Malvika tries shifting his attention to herself but to no avail.
Chaturvedi is here, to give his safai'. Khalid comes and tells him, they are here to bring his POV to the public.
Kabir walks in like a stud and Chaturvedi is zapped. They are on air, and he says, he was getting the girl married to someone else and these people have misinterpreted him.
They show the video and he runs away. A successful start.
Ananya is very happy that he used her footage.
Manav confronts Malvika about Editor post, and she says she is helpless.
In the dressing room, Manav and Kabir meet, cold vibes on.
Ananya decides to meet Kabir, and she accidentally hits him and stammers like crazy, Kabir is far from impressed. Khalid avoids it and takes him to the cabin, where Kabir says, the reporter who helps him improve the channel is his, and the rest are paraya.
Precap - Kabir covers some news where the girl's statement is not even taken. Ananya isn't happy.
My Take
A lot happened. But not too much to ponder on. Malvika's mysterious intentions got resolved today, xD. She wants Kabir's attention and is hitting on him and he isn't even interested. Manav has an inferiority complex that his slot is given to him. Natural.
Ananya is very excited that she is working with Kabir. Too excited in fact. I myself don't have idols and don't even believe in them, but, I understand yet I don't understand.
KaYa first meet began on the wrong foot. I don't think he cares, he just wants someone who will give him better ratings, that is it. So, I don't think a love hate relationship is something we will see. I think, there would be more of a professional, ideological difference as we got from the precap.
Kabir isn't a social worker. He works for the channel. He isn't helping people. He is helping himself. And, he is NOT wrong in doing so. Ananya can idolize him for successfully helping himself but NOT for others.
