Sony shows go on break-ups, the suspense for viewers...
From the 1st to the 9th of June, Indian Idol will air on a daily basis resulting in a temporary break for three of Sony's most happening shows: Durgesh Nandini, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si and Virrudh. The three shows promise a high suspense climax before they go off air.

Durgesh Nandini
A new girl called Priyanka will enter the show on the 31st of May. Priyanka is none other than the wife of Lakshya and she makes an entrance just before Lakhsya's mother announces his engagement to Durgesh.
During the episode, Lakshya is shocked to see his wife at a party and starts to follow her. He accuses her of lying when she calls herself Priyanka and drags her into a room. The family confronts Lakshya and Priyanka accuses him of rape. Lakshya then tells everyone she is lying. He tells them that her name can't be Priyanka as she is his wife.
Ek Ladki Anjaani Si Highpoint!
The love shared between Nikhil and Ananya is very apparent and after many difficulties they are finally together. However, recently Nikhil has been hiding something from Ananya and this weekend she will come to know what it is. Nikhil's secret is that he will be undergoing a life threatening surgery. A son of a woman from Nikhil's house is suffering from leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Nikhil offers to undergo the surgery to save the child but Ananya is against it as the procedure could kill him.
Virrudh
On Virrudh this weekend Vasudha catches her father red handed as he tries to kill her mother, Shalini. When Dhirendra sees her, he is shocked and speechless as Vasudha was his only support. Within 24 hours of the incident Dhirendra is killed. Before that Vasudha leaves home with her mother. She leaves a letter at home stating the truth about her father and his evil deeds.
