Shweta enters Aek Chabi....

It was a usual day for Ashiesh Roy when he reported for the shooting of Aek Chabi Hai Padoss Mein, until he met with an accident and injured his back. "We were shooting at Madh Island. There was a sequence where we were shooting the entry scene of my sister-in-law Moulli (wife's sister) played by Shweta Gulati. In the sequence my wife Mahua forces Moulli (who has just returned from London) to trade her mini skirt for sari to suit the sensibilities of our neighbours. And as the scene goes, Moulli trips and falls on me," Ashiesh says.

He adds, "We were rehearsing for the scene, when all of a sudden I felt a jerk in my back. I realised that I must have pulled a muscle in my back. I felt a terrible pain but I could not do anything about it because I had promised Shweta that I would not let her fall down. After that, I rested for a while but continued shooting till the unit called for a pack up. Simply, because I didn't want the producers to suffer losses."

"The unit members and Shweta in particular were feeling very guilty about the whole incident. In my zeal to do the scene, I too didn't realise that I need to take extra care of my back, which has been giving me trouble for a long time. (He had first injured his back while he was acting in one of Paritossh Painter's plays.) Now I have been advised complete bed rest and lie down for most of the day," Ashiesh says.

Ashiesh's shooting his been put on hold for the moment and The actor says he finds it very depressing and frustrating to be at home without being able to go to work. "I am not allowed to get up from the bed. I have kept a stove close to my bed from where I can make myself instant noodles," he says. When contacted, director Sohail Katari confirmed the incident and expressed his concern towards the same.

lolz..looks like Shweta has made a habit of falling down in her very first shot...like she fell before Yuvi could catch her in Remix..😆

Btw I am so happy for her...Aek Chabi which comes on Star Plus is a very good serial...I had seen the first two episodes of the show.and really loved it. The story line and esp the dialogues are simply amazing.👏...Shweta migth not be doing the lead role..but it is better to be a part of a good serial than a lead in a bad one🤢

Ok the only bad thing abt the serial is that it is a weekly show and not a daily..

It cums on Sat 10 pm on Star Plus..i don't know abt the repeat timings😕
