don't kill me 4 this but most of the things said in the review r true 😆 as i said, don't start calling me names but read the whole thing first 😉
yes, remix is abt over-pampered,dissipated kids on the whole(with probably the exceptions of anveer n vrinda)n yes,it does project their lives thru rose-tinted glasses as only parties n romances n performances r highlighted.
where r the problems which students face in the light of extreme competition in studies, bad marks etc. etc. which even the most fun-loving student faces?where r the real issues of insecurity, stress, bullying, peer pressure shown?
some teachers like mitrs r way 2 exaggerated--even the principal 2 sum extent 😉 😉 n yes,the lang. used by them is unique.
but let me say that i don't consider ne of these factors negative at all! 😆 this is a show abt priviledged students in an elite school n their concerns on the whole r bound 2 b diff. from the common student's. yes, they do act over-mature at times but if we hav a tia-ranveer pair which seems unrealistic,we also hav things 2 balance it out-- a couple who cannot cum 2 terms with their feelings(ashi n yuvi),we hav an over-weight girl suffering from low prestige(pri),a relationship which is cute n innocent(sid-meher).so we hav variety 😊
apart from that, this is mainly an escapist show or fantasy.we cannot really expect very serious, real probs. 2 b dealt with here! 😉 it is a feel-good show yes but even within that framework the show is in its own way trying 2 show us diff. students with diff. perspectives in life.at least it does not stagnate or bring up things like a 20 yr gap n does not show women in a negative light!!i also think the protrayal of ashi is nething but stereptypical--it in fact is the opp.
so we shud not really start blaming the writer, but try 2 realize that this show does hav limitations but doesn't mean we luv it ne less--after all it fulfills the pupose of enetertainment!! 😊 😛 😃
