Mansee loves singing Remix-ed tunes

Playing the principal's daughter on screen can be an interesting challenge for an actor. Ask Rani Mukerji, who played Tina, the sexy yet sweet daughter of the college principal in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Or closer home, ask Mansee Deshmukh, a resident of Sector 28, Vashi, who plays the daughter of Maurya Heights' principal in the popular teen serial Remix on Star One.

As Latika, Mansee makes sure her viewers hate and love her at the same time. Having done that successfully for one season, Mansee is back in the second season of Remix.

"Latika has new friends this year. Her character has transformed a little, but she is still the bad girl," she says. The 21-year-old celebrity adds a quick prayer: "I hope my fan like the new Latika."

Mansee says she always knew she'd make it big in showbiz. "Though I am not trained in acting, I always wanted to be a part of this industry," says Mansee, currently completing her TYBMM degree at Swami Vivekananda, Chembur. Mansee had auditioned for a show for a company called Rose Audio Visual. "I was surprised when I was told I was chosen to play Latika. The role just fell in my kitty," she says.

For now, Mansee is happy playing Latika. But soon she wants to make the all-important leap to Bollywood. "I want to work with Ram Gopal Varma," she concludes.

i hope this Latika aka Mansee Deshmukh dosent enter Ram Gopal Verma's films n sopils her name ;) as most of his films goes A TOTAL FLOP.

n i hope she turns good n not Bad
