@Di - You've said everything i could hope to say abt that scene soooo beautifully. Don't think i can improve upon what you wrote - you got straight to the heart of it. And omg it never occured to me that this is the 1st time ever ashi has spoken abt her parents' marriage!!!! 😲 OMG how special is this??? I don't think this is s'thing she could even speak abt to MP or Vrinda. I mean, she never dwells on her unconventional family.....she has made her own version of a family with her friends......and that's what's she's trying to encourage yuvi to do - she's not saying he won't be upset, but that he will find comfort and a new sort of family with his friends. And yessssss, Di, you're right - her face is so alive with hope when she talks of his music. It's like she sees this as his salvation - sometimes it's like she is as passionate for his passion as he is himself. She always, always encourages him for his music - it's like just seeing him living his dream gives her more happiness than living her own dreams. I love that she was so gentle with him here, but that her message was the same as always - fight for your dreams. Maybe she guessed that w/o meera he would stop fighting.....that yashwant would hold sway over him and keep him from his music......and this was her way of trying to ensure that doesn't happen.
