This is what I would like to see happen today.
The shock of seeing the decorated bed makes Sumi feel light-headed. She makes an excuse to leave the room for a bit and as she is walking along the corridor, she faints. She cannot handle the pressure of the situation and duly drops to the floor.
Karan is yelling for everyone, and in comes the whole family (family pet - the ghai's included. They have a long-standing friendship with Sumi 😆)
Karan is kneeling on the floor trying to revive Sumi, but she remains zoned out. Karthik enters, see's his wife on the floor and immediately runs to her. He kneels by her side and gently touches her face and calls her name. Sumi stirs. She opens her eyes and everyone breathes a sigh of relief.
She is pulled up onto her feet, but as she is still a little woozy, promptly drops into Karthiks arms. Our MAN (Vinu et al 😉) being the MAN that he is swiftly picks her up in his arms and takes her into his room as that is the closest and places her on the bed.
Karan as usual runs to Sumi and holds her hands and starts yabbering about how worried he was etc and tries to hold her. He asks why she fainted (Wish she'd tell him the real reason 😈, but we know that aint gonna happen anytime soon). Sumi's eyes are still closed.
Karthik is again forced to just watch helplessly from the sidelines( 😭)
Kaddu plays it down by saying that Sumi had been stressed with Karthiks wedding etc, and then managing everything with Karan's return, that it must have all become too much for her physically. She pretends to chastise the family for not looking after Sumi properly.
Anyway, after a few more minutes of boring talk it is decided that Sumi shouldn't be moved. KarNan can take the guest room for tonight (☢️) Karan off course doesn't want to leave. But Kanchu says 'bhaiya if sumi wakes up to see you here she will be even more stressed. She will feel that because of her you are stressing and not sleeping. You being here will only make her feel bad and that will increased her tension. You go to sleep and I will stay here wit her'
Karan reluctantly agrees. All file out the room (including the ghai's. Too much emotion gives them full udders!! 🤣)
Kanchu then wisely and coveniently holds Karthik back and isharon pe tells him to stay with Sumi. She walks out of the room (she will return later) Karthik sits on the edge of the bed. He sweeps the hair out of sumi's face and strokes her cheeks.
Frankly, it all becomes a bit too much for him and he puts his head in his hands and sits there looking at the floor.
Sumi opens her peepers and sees him like that. Karthik suddenly pulled out of his reverie by the feel of Sumi's palm against his cheek. He looks up at her. She is smiling softly. He places a hand over her's which is still resting against his cheek, closes his eyes and turns his head slightly to place a soft kiss just near her wrist.
With shaken concern, he asks her how she is feeling. She replies gently 'Aap ko dekliya, ab hum teek hai' and smiles.
She tells him to go and sleep. He looks tired. He says 'how can I sleep with you lying here unwell. I won't be able to sleep' She replies
'I know you want to stay here with me, but if Karanji see's he will wonder. It's best you go'
Karthik looks crestfallen. Sumi see's. She takes his hand and says 'Aapko kiya lagtha hai, hum aap ke saath, aap ke pas nahi rehna chahthe hai? Hum bhi aap ke liye taras rahi hoon. But whether you are in front of me or not, you are always in my heart and in my thoughts. And you're love, that I feel all the time, is what gives me the strength to cope with everything. Now go and take some rest'
Karthik leans over and places a kiss on her forehead before leaving the room.
That's what I want to see. But I doubt CV's will show me anything even remotely like it 😡
