Khalida Turi replaces Simone Singh as Kaikeyi in a TV show: Actress Khalida Turi, who was last seen playing the role of Qutub Begum in the show Razia Sultan, has been chosen to play the role of Kaikeyi in Siya Ke Ram. According to sources, Simone Singh, opted out of the show because she was not ready to shoot away from her family, in Hyderabad. Khalida confirms the news and said, "I have watched Ramayan on TV. After playing a historical character, essaying the role of Kaikeyi will be a challenge."

Tu Mera Hero to go off air: The TV show Tu Mera Hero, which features Priyansh Jora and Sonia Balani as the lead couple, will wrap up on November 14. Launched on December 22, the show failed to strike a chord with the audience and could not generate sustainable ratings. We tried getting in touch with Sonia but she remained unavailable for comment.
