Snigdha Akolkar, the actress who won the heart of Tamil audiences with her performance in Anjathey, Rajadhi Raja and Nandalala is all set to make appear in a big Www-budget production! In an upcoming big-budget mythological serial named Siya Ke Ram the actress will be donning the role of Lord Ram's mother named Kaushalya.

According to sources, Siya Ke Ram narrates interesting facts of Ramayana which are untold. Especially the character of Kaushalya who gains huge importance in Ramayana, and a lot is still unheard though. Interestingly, Siya Ke Ram will be the actress's first mythological show and also the actress will appear in an elderly role. Earlier, Snigdha has also done shows such as Hare Kaanch Ki Choodiyaan, Vaidehi and many others.

The first look promo of the show which was released recently has raised the eyebrows of many with its visual grandeur! Touted to be the biggest launch in recent times, this serial is produced by Triangle Films. The shoot of the serial is currently progressing at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Galatta Media wishes the actress all success for her new venture!
