Actress Maleeka R Ghai, who was last seen on Star Plus' popular show Saraswatichandra was busy doing shows for DD National. Now, the talented actress has bagged a new show for a GEC.
Our source informs us, "Mallika Ghai has been roped in to play the character of Bebo Marasan in the upcoming show Lajwanti (Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd.) on Zee TV. She is a tribal woman who roams from one place to other while singing, dancing to earn for her living. She knows the value of love will work as a catalyst to connect the protagonists of the show."
When we contacted Mallika, she remained unavailable to comment.
As we have earlier reported that the storyline of the show will revolve around the era of partition between India and Pakistan.
