SBS put it in so many words ... so did that writer Kamlesh Pande, who incidentally is a very senior writer of the industry ... that producers have become 'thekedars' who don'tbother about quality of a show, but only about costs. Blame the channels, and TRP system too, which don't reward good innovative ideas, but go on and with the old family dramas.
