I thought that was maroon. No one can wear black like Ashish. He rocked that black suit with his aviators and Bluetooth earpiece. One of the few reasons I continued watching the show.
It's a pity they made him quit BSD to reintroduce him as a bodyguard. Costume wise it was a big disaster.

I think the costume designer was jealous of Ashish's good looks. Why else who someone dress him like that.
After making him quit BSD, they gave such a bad reason for it. He quit because he couldn't save his wife then started a private security agency since he is a natural protector.
Most people watched only for Sanish. If they had quit, the show would have ended too.
When did he wear the black suit? I don't remember.

You know they could have kept him in BSD and had a different story for Myrah other than rich NRI needing a bodyguard while she plans her wedding.
Just think about Ashish playing SRK's character in Jab Tak hai jaan. All those stunts and action sequences for our macho man. Myrah could have been some girl he rescued or a terrorist's daughter whom he kidnaps and then they fall in love. The show might have worked better.
