I'm so glad I read this OS ... this is what Paro would have done ... she would have done anything to save her son and herself, and she was brave and strong enough to do it. Loved the way you brought the sword back into the picture.

For me this is the right ending to that horrible scene. Thank you for writing this ... I can now believe this is what happened in the show ... and Rudra and Paro are happily living with their small family in their own little world.

Thank you. Completely agree with the part in bold. She would have risen to the occasion.
I always felt that, there was a reason for Danveer presenting it to Rudra just like Mala's jewels were given to Paro.
Parud are happy in their home in Chandangarh where their children are chasing pigeons just like Dilsher wanted.

There was nothing charming about it because Parud's story was not an everyday type one, it was soulful and special.</font>

<font color="#990066">Our Paro would have really found out a way to escape Shantanu or buy out time til Rudra arrived to take over! She was the epitome of goodness and it should have won over Evil, she was the one who could move mountains...Shantanu was just a needle in haystack! Alas, the writers did not pay heed that time and brought upon us the misery of the last month.</font>

I didn't watch the BTS for this, it was too gruesome. I watched the episode hoping that the CVs have some mercy and prevent Paro's tragic end.
I had already started drowning myself in my own version of what could have been and was able to see RR2.0 as a new story of a grieving widower and the girl who helps him to embrace love again. It had stopped being Parud's story. The magic and charm was gone anyway. The only thing left was the efforts of some phenomenal actors who were loyal till the very end.
I agree with you completely. Paro would have managed to survive somehow.
I'm glad you found closure through my story.

Great to see an update from u. Lovely OS. Wish the writers had made Paro to fight shantanu instead of going down. It would have avoided the Myra track.

Now this. This is the way it should have been. The sword of the Ranawats, like the sword of griffindor, coming to those who needed it the most!

Thank you. Paro fighting Shantanu would have been true to her character. Myra was fun, but she didn't belong in Parud's story.

Sword of Gryffindor! Now there is a memory from long, long ago. I liked the HP books before it got really dark.
Paro was a survivor since the beginning of the show. How could she go down so easily?
