Geetanjali Mishra to enter Colors' Balika Vadhu

Actress Geetanjali Mishra played the role of Maithili in Colors' Rang Rasiya to great perfection. Now, she has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Colors' long-running show, Balika Vadhu, produced by Sphere Origins.

She will now essay the wife of the politician who would be entering, essayed by Nimai Bali. Earlier, the role was supposed to be played by Pooja Bisht of Splitsvilla fame, but our sources now tell us that it will Geetanjali essaying the role.

As per sources, Geetanjali will essay a positive character.

When contacted, Geetanjali told us, "Well, I had auditioned for Balika Vadhu. But I am yet to get a reply from them. I am really not aware of anything."

Nimai and Geetanjali will start shoot from the first week of November 2013.
