Colors high budget mythological show Ashoka Samrat promos have hit the air tube and everyone's wondering how the promos aired on Colors as the show was planned for Star Plus.This is a different show and the not the show currently in pre-production for Star Plus.

Swastik Pictures is quietly working on a show based on the life of King Ashoka (for Star Plus) and another on the only woman ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, Razia Sultan (for Zee TV).Star Plus has a variety of shows scheduled to premiere and as many are aware, it takes almost a year for a new show to air on Star Plus as the channel creatives plan everything with the production houses associated.

Colors TV recently faced a lot of flak for not doing fair promotions for their past and present shows and time will tell if the channel can regain its lost glory.

I would love that ashish can blend into any historic character hope to see him missing him the most

Colors ne kaise rr jaise unique show ko barbaad kiya..kabhi nahi bhool sakti..colors deserve to be shut down like NDTV Imagine and I hope ashish will never work with colors again.

I don't think it's the same Ashoka. But this was pretty fast. I mean, SP's show has been planned for some time now, but no news of it so far. Here, they just popped up with a promo already.
