It took a little longer than we expected to go through all of the posts, hence our sincerely apologies for the delay. At the same time, we would like to thank everyone for being patient - we truly appreciate it! Now coming to the points raised here by members, we have decided to clear out all the issues, point by point, so no confusion remains and we are all on the same page.
This is an online discussion forum where everyone is entitled towards their own opinion, so for starters we suggest taking things lightly and not personally. Since this is a public forum and everyone has the right to voice their opinions, we cannot restrict anyone from posting in specific topics or accuse them to be a "stalker." The word "stalker" is only applicable in the Chat Clubs forum on "Invite Only" CCs, otherwise everything else is open for everyone to discuss. You may have a difference of opinion, but each member is given an opportunity to express their viewpoint so they can defend their stance/objection. Therefore instead exchanging words that disturb the forum's decorum, try and understand the other person's arguments and follow up with yours in a civil manner. If you find a comment that does not follow forum rules, report and kindly walk away. In this thread itself, a few of the pages had digs and personal attacks targeted at members and the moderators that were removed by the section DT.
Please note that such acts will NOT be tolerated here. If you think you have been wrongly accused/warned by the moderator, take it up with the higher DT instead of quoting the moderator's note, openly calling them out and challenging the moderation. We admit that the section DT can be at fault sometimes as we are humans as well and no one is perfect. Just be courteous and point it out nicely to the DT member that they were incorrect via PM or contact one of the higher DT members (CM/GM) with your concerns.
Recently, members have had altercations with the RR DT pertaining to certain issues and notes. The DT's intent was never to hurt or point fingers at certain members. However, if you felt that you were treated unfairly as a result, then we would appreciate if members contact the DT and seek clarification instead of escalating issues from this forum to other forums and complicate the situation even further. The matter can be solved amicably and misconstruing/bitterness can be avoided. With that being said, the DT sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused.
If an individual wishes to see his/her favourite celebrity paired with someone in a future show, they will be allowed to express their opinion and disagreement in a civil manner in the allocated threads. Any factual comments on these actors will be allowed. Posts criticizing other actors will not be entertained if they are based on speculations and done merely to cause chaos. There will be zero tolerance for personal and/or instigating remarks. The DT reserves the right to delete/edit violating comments and take the appropriate action against violators.
With regards to the complaints about comments being deleted from Sanaya Irani's birthday thread, please note that it has nothing do with the forum moderation or to do with any personal grudge against the members - as many have speculated. GA topics do affect the site's bandwidth with the repetitive picture posting, multiple quotes and animated creations. This is why the admin has given clear instructions to remove them. It is important to consider that such posts have been removed from almost every celebrity's birthday thread including Sanaya, Barun, Gurmeet, Drashti, Vivian, KSG etc. while it was a global announcement. There were also some complaints about posts being deleted once the thread was taken off as a GA. The GMs have verified that this statement is false. We are aware of the fact that certain threads were closed after the damage was done but we hope members understand that it happened when we had less manpower as some of the DTs were busy with personal life. It is ruthless to expect a DT member to be on 24/7 - just like you all have lives so do DT members. Therefore if there is an issue, please give the forum DT at least 24-48 hours to look into the matter and reply to your queries. If you receive no reply after 48 hours, then you are free to contact the higher DT members ONLY (the CM or the GMs).
Lastly, there have been accusations against the DT for being bias towards a particular fan group. We would just like to point out that when a DT moderates, s/he puts his/her biases aside and views the issues from a neutral point of view. We can only ask that you believe this is true. More so, most decisions taken are team decisions. Thus, the element of biasness is eliminated.
Since we are meeting the members in the middle, we also expect them to be cooperative and not take us for granted. Everyone is encouraged to share their point of view. We only request that it abides by the forum rules set for the well being of the forum. A forum only works well if the members take up their responsibility and help us by following the rules. It takes two hands to clap; so one side cannot be solely blamed or held responsible. Instead of going back and forth about who is right and who is wrong, let us start with a clean slate and let bygones be bygones. Once again, the DT apologizes for any genuine inconveniences caused.
