I don't like it one bit. Many Indian media people have no ethics when handling their viewers. ...Their communication skills sucks

Having said all that RR has been the best show I have watched on TV so far...so no regrets on that.
Kudos to the cast. ...They are par excellence. ...

I was not much active on twitter , so not sure what all hapepned but the idea I got from forum members is that they too were equally frustrated with low trps and though they did try , but somehow could not get the trps and mayb thats what resulted in those nasty or mocking tweets coming our way

Wish they had hired better writers and CVs instead of mocking the viewers on twitter ... mayb things would hv been different then ..

And RR for me too is possibly one of the best show I hv watched in a long time ..at least the first 3-4 months 👍🏼

Yep this is exactly how i feel. I'm disappointed that TRP's killed the true story off rr as Sanaya said herself Paro wasn't meant to be killed at all. I guess we have to hope Sanaya gets a new show soon so we can move on. But For me I can only move on when I've closed this chapter in my life some how. I'm starting my first and last FF on this forum where I express how I think RR should have ended. It'll continue from the Myrud ending they've shown on TV today, but mine has the twist of Paro returning and the complications it brings. The story is more for me to be satisfied that yes this is how our RR would have ended. With Parud.
Great post.

Your title says it all. Everyone is happy except us viewers.

I also loved RR at the very beginning. The whole soulmate connection between Parud was unbelievable. So I also have mixed feelings about the ending. It is sad that I will not get to see Sanaya and Ashish on screen let alone see them ever again on screen together but the ending for me was just not right. I guess for me RR will always be about Paro and Rudra. I agree people should move on but due to the time limit of the show the whole storyline didn't get shown properly.
I will miss your posts also. I haven't really been replying to many posts for a while but I really will miss the whole buzz when RR was in its initial months and IF was totally the place to be.
Also hats off to the star cast especially Sanaya and Ashish for portraying Paro and Rudra so well that their characters have become iconic in the minds of all their fans.

Hi Jyoti...I was exactly thinking the same ...Whenever a movie shows an ending of the first love, they always try to show that love to be less matured and less intense...Like in the case of Kaho na pyaar hai...which may be ST was inspired to shape MyRud story..But if we notice, Rohit in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai was killed in the 1st 40 mins of the movie and the female was quite a silly, rich brat who was too much in love with the kind-hearted poor boy...Its only later that she grows mature and falls for a lookalike 'Raj' after spending lots of time with him. Even in those scenes it was shown how they help each other and are a saviour to each other...Thus the story with Raj becomes more intense and we can imagine them as a grt couple..Thus that movie became a grt hit and broke the image that Love can happen only once in life...

Similar case goes with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai where 'Rahul' falls in love with 'Tina', marries her and then has a baby...But that ends with her death in the 1st scene in the movie...Definitely Karan Johar must have given a thought as in why to kill the 1st love in the 1st scene itself and focus the story on the 'Best friends' angle? It was because he wanted to show that after Tina, Rahul actually could share an intense relation only with his best friend as she was the only person on earth who cared the most for him. The entire movie was about it..This touched everyone's heart...It became a best seller of all times..

Well we can't say this about Rangrasiya...Rangrasiya firstly kept even the name of the characters as the name of the God's as a couple- Rudra and Parvati...The entire 6 months story revolved around them..So suddenly when they killed the better half if the guy, to bring another girl into his life, she should have a name that resembles Paravti's name again. Secondly her share in Rudra's life had to be as imp as Parvati and as intense as of Parvati..This was completely missing..After the leap it was nothing but a daily drama going on without any clue...After a time I felt like watching this show without knowing why I was actually watching it...It was like chewing a gum which has been chewed many times and is being still chewed only out of some obligations...

Thus MyRud story was just unable to connect with the viewers..It neither had the intensity of Kaho na pyaar hai nor the friendship of Kuch kuch hota hai..The only relief of the Leap story were the cute kids...

Yeah I read her article too .. she clearly said Paro was not meant to b killed .. its clear that the twist was done for trps sake but CVs should hv gussed it that if a beautiful story of PaRud could not bring trps due to whatever reason , then how can killing off main lead and bringing lookalike story can get trps

Instead a mini separation track would hv worked actually as the curiosity of reunion always pulls in viewers ...

Ohh and it will b lovely if u write your FF with Paro's return .. it will make many in the forum feel happy 😃
