Since I haven't seen anyone/ or any post saying that the uncle is silly to trust that man without knowing his background, nor his character, to agreeing to marry his only daughter to him, and that too a girl who is in college, why didn't someone stop him. Since when does his wife really listen to him. 😕

Silly old man, its like he thinks that if he keeps his daughter she would get a proper match, or ask them to wait until the girl finishes college. Gosh some parents do this even in real life.🥱😆

I know they want to finish this track, but still it grates to see a father being this illogical.😭

On a serious note I have seen parents marrying their daughters even before they turn 18 because they feel they are burden to them :((

I agree, it was illogical!

Sunehri has just turned 18 and I don't think Kakusa had to be that desperate for her marriage right then. I know such things happen but in RR their situation was not like that. It felt unnecessarily rushed.

What was shown is generally the mind set of most Indian parents - educated or not and how old the daughter is etc etc .

Have seen many cases where they take the decision of getting their daughter married to some guy just because everything seems hunky-dory but only superficially , they get flown in the emotions like accha ladka hai, kamata hai ,bol raha hai ki pyar karta hai beti se , isse jyada aur kya chahiye , hamari beti bhi pasand karti hai - wait karenge toh kya guarentee hai ki aur accha ladka milega , etc etc and unknowingly commit their daughters to a very uncertain furture. All's great if things work out well otherwise if its some one like Shantanu , then god save the girl and the family :(
