I dont know if amnesia is the right route to go but there are definitely ways to gear the show towards Paro more:
- Focus on her parents death... Maybe have the BSD to be revealed to have been involved in their death so Paro doesnt necessarily hate Rudra but it shakes her trust and sanctity of the BSD. It will give the CVs the chance for Rudra to make the effort of rebuilding her lost trust and expose some of her inner demons
First of all Paro is a white character and thus to have inner demons in her will go against her char...secondly...she hating Rudra will not be plausible without a good cause...and making a BSD involved in her parents death does not give her any ammunition to put Rudra under scanner...thirdly...even if it does...yet again the track will give the remote control to Rudra to set things straight n the motive here is to sell Paro...not Rudra...coz Paro can bring in TRPs
- I think finally touching upon the other brides that had been taken across the border and having Paro being involved with finding them will show some inner emotions of hers in regards to her memories associated with the wedding. Also, we could possibly see a side of Paro where she takes the reigns to protect her family (specifically her cousin who was wed in this way)
I srsly think this track will do wonders if thrown in in the mix of partial amnesia track...it will not only make her revisit her past n her tormented feelings...but having that fire in her to save other brides will come out so fiercely...
- Shantanu's story could also bring out some emotions in Paro. If he actually turns out to be unaware of his brother's terrorism links then maybe his inner turmoil and Paro's attachment to him could lead her to taking two steps back and rethinking about her life before she knew the truth. This could cause her to close herself off from Rudra a little and bring her to the forefront, working out her feelings with the support of Rudra
Sorry I didnt quite get you here!😕
- Also, very little has been touched upon Paro's education status. I understand that this show is set in a place where being a housewife and sometimes uneducated is normal. But I think a sensible track to allow Paro to be self-dependent (maybe even join some sort of social work force) could bring about a lot in her. The masses of working women and women sitting at home could relate to this and i think there are ways for it to not go down the diya baati or ek nayi pehchaan route. There is a lot to happen if Rudra doesnt agree, maybe a separation but the sexual tension still remaining (This option still would have been done before and this option I personally like the least but amnesia is even more overdone)
Once again I think this track followed in the amnesia track will make so much sense...coz she would obviously not want to be with Rudra as she hates him...and this time she has no reason to stay back with him like previously coz Rudra will not threaten to kill her village again...but he can still make her stay with him with other reasons and she demands to work for her living ...
I did not mean any disrespect for your idea. Your idea would make things very interesting but I think the USP of Rangrasiya is the fact that it takes on a little different take than other shows even for scenarios which have been touched upon before. So these are just ideas above.

I love this idea!! It would be like a fresh start for their love story except that Rudra would already be in love with her.. and then to get paro to fall in love with him would be so cool to watch!! I really really wish we could send this idea to the makers and see them implement it..While i generally don't like amnesia tracks.. I think it could work here.. just like it worked really well in one of my fav movies.. fifty first dates..
i like this track...much much better than the current one..I will get back my lost interest in RR 👍🏼

Sajnisa your story line just might do the trick A reboot with a wicked twist and with Dimple sa thrown in to quiver the pitch it would be simply marvelous and make for one fine intense viewing provided they are able to project the FL emotional anguish properly Any screw up on the writing and trying to elicit sympathy for the ML only again will put an end to this last resort I would love to see the conflict from both sides of the leads as well as the others like Maithali who have already established a deep connect with Paro Mohini relishing plotting as well as the rest of the family members Again very tricky line and wonder are they capable
Personally speaking for myself I prefer love stories where both POV's are told ( a reason I really like the 11pm show - balanced and well thought out) the show that should not be named but anyway does get named here often worked for the initial 9 months as the viewers got the emotional connect to not just the leads but the ensemble cast as well including the antagonist Here it has been far too lopsided and when it is supposed to be a love story narrating the life and experiences of only one main character can only lead to a heavy imbalance and viewer emotional connect I honestly after getting Rudra's pain initially found myself distancing and disconnecting because of the overkill of his side of the pain
Now the million rupee kostin is
Are ST /GH and Co capable of writing this story line? ST assumed bringing on SI on board would be enough to reel in the viewers without giving much thought to her role and he is reaping rather poor dividends because of it And it did not help he butchered all the other characters like the parents Laila ( I very much regret the injustice done to her I would have detested a 2 timing Rudra but would have found a manipulative Laila exploiting an emotional Rudra / Paro most interesting the mind games she could have played oh well now history and such a pity) I remember the first few months of this forum it looked like the gathering of the clan from another time now not many so RR did take a hit due to the lack of proper back story on the FL side Mala story in the hands of the writers was another disgrace These 2 were the most important links Had they given a proper emotional voice to Mala's story and elicited sympathy for her as well the trps would have certainly risen for all Asian viewers are suckers for a good mother /son story The track ended on a real damp squib
This track of yours would be most interesting provided everyone is given a voice and depth
I would LOVE to see this ... partly because as we all have been pointing out ad nauseum, the female POV has been woefully neglected in what was supposed to be a "DARK PASSIONATE LOVE STORY" ... and NOT a story of a man and his mommy issues.
And also because the WORST handled track in the show, and probably the one which caused maximum viewers to switch off ... was the track of Paro falling in love with Rudra. If they would re-do that entire track, with the added twist of Rudra already madly in love with Paro, yet desperately trying to play the Jallad ...AND show it from Paro's POV ... her confusion as to WHY she is falling for this man, who killed her husband ... her internal struggle to stop her feelings from growing ... Sanaya would ace it, she excels in showing conflict of emotions ... and Ashish would get a whole new range of emotions to display as well, instead of irrational bouts of anger, which have been pretty much done to death by him. This is honestly the first idea which has got me excited about the show after a very long time.
I like paro getting amnesia... Because it fits with shiv Parvati story also... Parvati lost her memory ...
I would like it more if paro realises during her memory loss that she's pregnant... And KCM manipulates her saying rudra forced her...

You are right, Rangrasiya became male centric so we are not getting TRP, it should be Paro doing all fighting to get TRPs.

no offense ,but the memory loss track has been shown in way too many serials that people will be interested in it . and such tracks come in the end when they run out of all the tracks

Good idea..it will be interesting to watch.. 😊
Love this idea! This would give equal attention to both the leads and we would at last be able to see Paro's side of the story and maybe the women in the audience will connect with RR. Some one please tweet this thread to ST.
The only thing I disagree with is the pregnancy track that someone suggested. PaRud have only been married for a few months. Babies can come after a few years.
Usually I'm totally against amnesia plots, but in this case with the way RR is currently going, I'm all for it. This show is literally craving Paro's POV, but the writers are starving it. If they actually get it in their heads that TRP viewers may actually want more of Paro, then we have a chance. From the start of the show, RR has been mainly from Rudra's view, but it needs more of her's than his, especially now. We make fun of the TRP 'aunties', but if we look at the top TRP shows, they are female-oriented and dominated and there's a reason why PH's do so: TO GET THE RATINGS. I don't understand how ST and the crew don't understand that or dont' want to grasp it.
I hope someone can get this to ST and the CV's somehow. It might be futile, but at least we can try. Ultimately it's their show and their call, but if they're chasing the ratings (as ST admitted), then it's time they really reflect and take their actual audience's (yes, even us online viewers) suggestions into account and do something to revive the show.

Haha. I don't think they can do such things and make it work now. It is too late. Within the current story they can build in Paro's POV. But they have already lost the audience, so I am not sure how ill they get them in again.

Well I have to admit - I am excited by the idea!😳
When I read this first, both the medical student and Ekta hater in me cringed at the thought😆 But as I read the comments and slowly started considering the future prospects of this, I have to say it got me interested!1. It gives me what I have been till now craving to see in the story - Paro's POV.2. I was dissatisfied with the way the whole love story played out. It progressed too fast and viewers had hard time connecting to it. With this idea, they get another shot at doing this right.3. How Paro fell in love is still unclear. When you do a love story, you have to take care that the feelings and emotions of both the partners come out well, and audience gets to connect to them, which was totally lacking in RR. With this idea, they get to revisit that angle.4. Its a tested idea, and might bring us the required TRPs.There are two demerits which I'd also like to point out:1. The show's target is the young audience, who might not take well to "Amnesia" track. I know my friends would wrinkle up their noses at the sound of this.2. The present story had immense possibilities too. If the makers couldn't do this right (in my eyes they didn't do it right, it's totally my own POV), what makes us think they'll do justice to the new tracks? But m willing to take chances. Overall, I'm impressed by the idea Sajni sa👍🏼 As people are saying here, this post should be tweeted to ST.

I am all for a separation track, even one brought out by amnesia (similar cringe like SilverLining), but the focus should be on both Paro and Rudra. I do not agree with the idea that one actor should carry the whole show on his/her shoulders. Then why the heck do we have an amazing ensemble cast for?
