You know I will be there to join in on this. You KNOW this. But just a quick question--why are we assuming that the show will end? There were multiple sources today (Chugalchor Aunty, if thats what she's called, who I know is an excellent reliable source on SBB or SBS mentioned the change in TIMING for BI and RR was taking place--certainly not anything about axing our show) , One unnamed source supposedly from Colors dropped one petty, bitchy little line--and hum saab man gaya?

Am I missing anything? Maybe I'm being Pollyanna here--but is Colors really this stupid, and myopic? Three months of Big Boss--and then what will they do with a gaping 9-10 prime time slot?

And one more thing---Colors might have axed just RR or BI had only one affected BB's one hour timing-- but to axe BOTH shows together, as they'd have to, if their rationale is low both TRPs and the Big Boss time slot--- that would be channel suicide here. They'd have blood in the water if both are gone--and if they choose to let just ONE go and give the other a time slot change--well that would mean the unlucky fandom of the axed show would go absolutely bonkers--and rightly so. They remember IPKKND and what happened there, Baisa. All remember the madness. No channel wants that kind of heat on their hands again, Star Plus bhi nahi--they learnt that any publicity is NOT good publicity if it makes your phone operators quit in droves and causes an actual public outcry.

Boh RR and BI have huge fan bases, and they all scew younger, and are tech savvy and internationally based too. Colors is trying to build its channel brand overseas, and these two shows are getting them the most international eyeballs, and they are getting new subscriptions because of them, not Uttaran, Bani, and Ballika Vadu, which are on its limping-along line.

The two heros and heroines of these shows consistently top Colors TV's own polls on Popular Jodis-- and Parud and Zaya are now strong contenders against other show couples as well. And they have Sanaya Irani on this show, and that Harshad guy on BI, both huge breakout stars in their own right. It is just not done, to make business decisions on the short term like this.

I know Colors has a habit of axing shows during Big Boss-but not shows halfway into their story line, surely! And TWO new shows, started on the same date, with banner names flagpoling it? Without stagnating plots?

I think this would be hugely impractical of them, from the basis of angering two fan bases and from simple economics and the need to replace both these shows, simultaneously again, after 3 months. And they KNOW they wont get the same fan bases back to commit to them again. Its a younger, more international audience. We dont forgive easily, or return to channels that are operating their business without a clue..

But whatever. If this is a bandage to prevent a potential wound, I am for it, no matter what. Petition, phone calls. I'm in. And if you are doing twitter--hell, I'll figure the damn blue bird thing out, and join you, if you are in it, so am I. Bas Bol diya...

This show has become like a part of my daily life now, which is why I can't let it go. It is a beautiful serial with a fresh story and a superb cast, and I really hope it stays for a long time. RR was always under threat due to low TRPs but it has a very large international audience, like me, who love it ! So, I'm willing to join anything you guys decide to do for increasing RRs lifetime.

i want a time slot change.. cz I want this show to cross abt 200-250 episodes..
200 - Sep 25th
250 - somewhere in early Dec..

But either way if its ending soon I want parud scenes! No accommodations to other show with one lead gone! I am ready to let go only if the next 3 months are not compromised! I want a completely wonderful ending for this show!!

But if anything is done on twitter etc, i will obviously join hands with it.
But I am prepared either way.

I would also like to help if I can. even I don't want this show to end anytime soon. Being part of the international crowd this show is loved here by us in the UK and it ending would be sad. I am hoping that what naps had said in her post comes true and there is a time slot change. That would be a better idea for the channel because if they did close both BI and RR there would be Pando mania and colors could lose out on the international market as both shows are extremely popular internationally.

@TM - Just a thought not to offend anyone..

I think the news of RR going off air is fake ... unnecessarily fandom is being stirred by few folks just like the ITA FB page did yesterday by not nominating RR in few categories 😕

Just saw a tweet frm Raj Baddhan of BizAsia stating the news is a rumour and there were talks f time slot change ...lets stay calm until we see TRPs trend next few weeks and hear some official statement from PH !
