Pls let me know d difference btw Teej and Karvachaut...dnt hav any idea abt these festival...and is real Teej 2014 on d way?...

I didnt think Teej happened in June either - but I guess the IPK Teej also happeneed in June-July.

I know they are separate festivals, I dont know exact details

Teej (Hariyali Teej) falls on 30th July this year. I suppose they have brought it in almost a month earlier in the show just to weave in this track, since normally most shows tend to bring in festival related tracks as close to the said festival as possible.

Teej is celebrated in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Women fast and pray for the well-being of their husbands on this day.

Karva Chauth also has the same purpose but it falls in the month of October and almost in all of the above states as also women in Punjab and Haryana, J&K and Himachal Pradesh observe this fast. Karva Chauth will be observed on October 11 in 2014.
