Are you tamil sabs anyways even if you are not I have to tell you about this movie called Rhythm. It was one of the best romantic movies made in tamil in the last 10 years. long story short let me try lolzzz the hero who is a bomb diffuser becomes a widow, his wife dies tragically in a train accident but before that she confesses to him that his job of bomb diffusing kills her every minute but she never told him that before because she loved him and he loved his job and she couldn't let her fear become a selfish desire. but what was so heart breaking was that before she dies in the train accident he calls her and tells her he found out about her fear, he gave up his job because he loves her more than his job and if she was suffering every minute because of it then he will give it up for her just so that she can be at peace. i still cry when i see that scene and then she dies, but love never dies even after her death he gives up his job as a promise to his beloved wife that he won't put himself in harms way so that her soul can be at peace.
this is such a beautiful and tragic theme and it highlights the struggles of spouses who have to deal with their better halves in dangerous jobs like army men, men who serve their country putting their life on the line for others. how tough it must be for their families to live with that feeling that they might never come back. is it selfish for a wife to wish her husband to give up his job so he can be safe. if all husbands in the army did that for their wives then who would serve our country. i would love to see this explored in RR between Rudra and Paro. Rudra has not gone on any mission since the border shootout but I would love to see his role of an active duty officer brought back in to the story. I would love to see Paro tormented if Rudra is hurt because of his job, will Rudra ever give up BSD for Paro if he felt she is tortured by his job, would it be right for her to demand that he did, would it be honourable of him to give up BSD for Paro which could undermine his identity and his commitment to serve his country, is love for your wife more important than serving your country. This is a real life issue I am sure many army men face with their families.
who else thinks paro needs a real weakness in her character. this taking maasa side is not a weakness more like an annoying plot device the writers are using to drive the mala plot. i would love to see paro have a genuine weakness, and what is more genuine about her than her love for rudra. if rudra is possessive about paro, paro is just as vulnerable when it comes to his safety, remember she was ready to leave him for it. if he was ever really hurt i would love to see her go crazy with worry and get all paranoid and overbearing and demanding because her fear overwhelms her good nature which is she lives for others but not where rudra is concerned if he was in danger she can be selfish too selfish enough to want to take away BSD from Rudra. BSD is rudra's life he would never want to give it up note even for Paro, this could bring a very real struggle between them.
if nothing else can we have major rudra pratap ranawat fire his gun damn i miss that :(
