for a show that we watch every day how important is for the characters to be right
is it because if the character doesnt meet the expectation we bash here in IF , is that why its important

i think it is more important for characters to be interesting , whether right or wrong to have the characters defined well their flaws , fear all of it that we understand the character , to have a opinion , to see growth and journey of the characters through the story that can keep the viewers hooked

otherwise godfather will not be one of the most popular characters written ,nor rhet butler or roark , not that positive characters are not interesting tulsi virani was i guess for a long long while because its was about a journey

Well said.

@bold- Hope the writers continue to work towards this end as they have a talented cast to pull it off. It will make for a worthy watch whether it gets appreciated on IF or not.

hey😊
i think we are all baised here (me included ) , most of the times we want to make a point substantiate our stand , we end up justifying characters , like everyone nice to paro are loved , or everyone who did anything wrong to rudra is hated , thats fine
but these day i see posts which only analyses who is right , how does it matter
going by the general belief that these guys visit IF , i hope its not misguiding ,during the last few weeks because mala was hated by the forum but relatively well received by the trps guys , because her reasons were different , there was a mystery right or wrong it was interesting
i dont like what they did with her now but teek hai

Very true Priya!! In fact here in RR itself Mohini and Tejawat are way more interesting that most of the positive supporting characters. No human being can be perfect, its the flaws that make a person who he/she is.

As long as they dont become absurd its fine..

Hey P
Interesting the battle of right and wrong ...when here I'd no real fixed measure for that
Many a times I find tho policy cry for we want differento. Theif Rea tons are stereo typical and want a reaction that is standardized , not what might go with the character or God foe bid a different way of thinking.

Anyways just popped in saw u need had to say hi ...

hey tangam 🤗
all the same , but they say its different , i dont know how
standardize reactions true that
some stereotyping in these soaps are outright mean , like a woman who was in a live in is a vamp
a woman who decided to move on from a broken relationship is clueless

Very well said ttt1.. I am amazed at some discussions here and virtually stopped posting. This is few of many posts which has some sense in it.👏.. and when you talked about rhett butler don't leave out scarlett o'hara... man was it not a character with dark shades? and what a character it was.. one of the very few well written heroines.
