Very precise, yet well - conveyed.
I always thought that somehow subconsciously, Rudra is so abhorrent to the thought of getting closure from his mother is may be because the pain and anguish that part/ phase of his life instilled in him - if he let that go, let that slip away, he would be making himself more vulnerable. I mean that very pain made him the way his is today, shaped every course, every action of his life, letting go of a major chunk of your soul - no easy task.

Exactly what I meant to portray. At the base of all that hatred and anger lies a naked sense of fear of being left alone and heartbroken again.
