Dilsher was a VERY thoughtful man throughout this episode😆...in the scene where Danveer reveals to him that he was in touch with Mala after she left, the INSTANT way in which Dilsher pushed him away...is there ANY doubt that this man is Rudra's father? Mirror images😆...their instant reactions are the same when faced with betrayal of any sort...but after this point, Dilsher thought, thought and thought his way through the epi...especially in the scene with Paro where he was doing some information gathering again vis a vis Rudra's reaction to Mala...
I have to pause here though and ask the writers...Paro just told Dilsher that Mala RAISED her and Dilsher had NO reaction? Didn't feel the need to ask her HOW that came to be? Ok then😆
The Rudra-Paro scene wasn't really substantial in anyway, but that said...I liked a few bits...the way Paro caressed the scar on his forehead, the way Rudra woke up the moment she left and noticed the blanket, then heard the mangasutra tinkling in his pocket...I didn't know mangalsutras tinkle like payals...we learn new things in RR everyday...anyways back to Rudra...I liked how the mangalsutra brought back a whole host of memories...happy and bad...light and darkness, both...and that sharp pain with which he closes his eyes and then goes off to sleep clutching it.
Mala's explanations still seem on hold...but she does seem to be in somewhat of a self-berating mode now...questioning what kind of mother she was...no excuse justifying the fact that she left her son alone to cry for her all his life...good that atleast Mala acknowledged that...but Paro and her really are amazingly quick to jump on the "sab theek ho jaayega" train...this time Paro is the one brimming over with confidence to boost up Mala's morale😆
I thought they would end the epi at Mala showing up at the haveli doorstep but I'm glad we got a few seconds/a minute of Rudra's reaction...boy is he WIDE AWAKE now😆...from his initial need to ESCAPE Mala's presence, to getting drunk enough to vent at her, now he's full guns blazing ahead in a SOBER state😆...loved the way he refused to look at Mala much and told Paro that this haveli belongs to his father and there is no place for strangers here...solid burn for Mala😆...
The twist in the tale ofcourse comes with Dilsher showing up at the doorstep to interrupt Rudra and tell him ENOUGH...Rudra is amazed...and going by the precap, this is definitely going to become a Rudra v/s Dilsher thing since Dilsher is insisting on bringing Mala home...Rudra will probably be unable to fathom why his father is doing this even after being told that Mala left him for Tejawat.
Dilsher seems to have chosen Paro as his scapegoat for bringing Mala home...wonder if he will take ownership tomorrow for this decision and Rudra will be left fuming.
Mission Rudra-Mala milaap is on for the haveli-vaasis...spearheaded by Paro and Dilsher particularly.
Oh and how can I forget to mention Mohini's reaction...only a few seconds of the camera lingering on her but Ananya ji was BRILLIANT in conveying Mohini's state of mind...wonder how long Mohini will stay quiet tomorrow before her taunts start😆
