Loved the episode. We have a smart male lead!!! He used wonderful logic on his lovely wife and worked. It was very filmy and but well done and happy I saw the episode. This has been a good week for team RR and hopefully it will continue 😊
No matter what crap Laila pulls nothing will come between these two soul mates. They cannot and will not live without the other so even if Rudra gets angry and Paro becomes Mother Theresa again it will only ever be for a short while for the story to move. They are together for life and it's wonderful to see Rudy boy happy and at peace a little now that wifey has sworn to never leave his side.

I didn't mind KCM today. Probably because the witch got told off in the nicest most pleasant way possible. What to go Maithili!! What a courageous wonderful human you are. May your husband inherit some of your backbone. I loved the part where she told KCM that they would leave if that's what was necessary.

And now finally to me least favourite person - no, it's not Laila. Laila for all of her faults, does love Rudra and doesn't wasn't to see him hurt. She cares for someone other than herself. Mala?
Mala is a poor excuse for a mother. There can't be any good reason to leave your child behind and run off with another man. I get that KCM is a witch and Dilsher has issues but those aren't valid excuses. Let's face it the TRP aunties are going to hate this woman and that's good news for the show. As it is now I fast forward most of her scenes. She is such a clueless twit. As a viewer I feel nothing but contempt and pity for her.

Her entrance into the haveli does open up some interesting side stories. Why does KCM hate her so much (well other than the fact that KCM is full of bitterness and hate) Is Mala a bigamist? This is one question I"m looking forward to getting an answer for. Let the 3 ring circus begin!!

Hi Sush! Great post again!
The episode reminded me of the "I love you dammit" confession in another show, although I must admit that Rudra's confession was at an extreme emotional high.
I applaud the CVs for writing such a rational counter for Paro's vachan. Human beings have created this belief that God acknowledges a barter system. But this has roots in our fear of the unknown and supreme power of God. We never realise that God has created the universe and all he will want is for his children to be happy and at peace. I absolutely loved each and every dialogue of Rudra in that scene. I sincerely hope that the CVs do not pick on this unfulfilled vachan of Paro at a later stage as a basis for her to leave for Rudra's safety.
Aside from that, I really want either Mala or Laila to exit from the story in the upcoming track. Apart from the the fact that there are too many nuisance creating women in the story, this is my view.
Laila: My full sympathies for this girl who gave emotional support to Rudra for 8 years and also a vent for his frustrations and zeher. Somewhere in all her obsession for Rudra, there is a woman who cares for Rudra. Remember the episode where he comes to her with all the zakhams from the baraat fiasco and she immediately runs to tend to the wounds but he shoves her away? It was a beautiful scene where she asks him that you dont love me, dont want me to care for you, then why do you come to me? He says we are both used to this zeher or something like that. The foundation of their relationship was the inherent brashness in the two with no expectations. But somewhere in the process, Laila being a woman, did fall for him (and frankly, you will have to be nun not to fall for Rudra).
I did not like the way the CVs tried to show her in bad light in the previous track and Rudra's putting her down. But what is done cannot be undone. But there is still scope to salvage her character, I feel. Let her come back to the haveli and realise that Rudra is now genuinely in love with Paro and the soul connection he shares with her is something he had never shared with her. Let her martyr herself while saving Rudra from Tejawat's goli or something. Having said that, considering that the CVs really love her so much, they should design a track which makes her fall in love with Sumer. It could actually turn out to be nice sub-story.
Mala: At the cost of sounding judgmental, the story so far shown has not given us any hints towards a possible justification for Mala abandoning her family. The only thing we know is that she was in love with Teja. If that is the only reason for her leaving Dillu and Rudra, then she should die. Let her explain to Rudra about her love, let Rudra forgive her for the pain she inflicted on his psyche, but then after that she needs to die or go away (basically exit the story). She can be forgiven for what she did, but accepting her back does not fit well with me.
Ok, I am done for now but likely to come back later in the day.

So I actually didn't like the episode, I couldn't connect to it and I only like Rudy acting so soft with Paro - no one else...but I'm going to re-watch the episode later because I think I may have not liked it because of the condition/situation I watched it in! Will provide an opinion after watching again 😊

P.S. I can definitely say though that Mohini-Maithili (sometimes even Maithili-Samrat scenes...I love their scenes but I don't want to see them too much) or Laila-Mala scenes in between PaRud scenes are really putting me off the entire episodes these days, I can't enjoy PaRud before those 4 (or 5) faces inconveniently pop up and I think their randomly squeezed in scenes take away from the intensity of PaRud scenes. I love Maithili but I don't want to see her as much as or more than PaRud. And I don't want to see the other 3 idiots (Mohini, Laila, Mala) at all, they make me feel depressed and I want to watch RR for the entertainment and romance, not for the pathetic vamps constant presences.

Hi Zee, cannot agree more with you on the bold above. It is very distracting, especially in intense or romantic scenes. They should really try to finish one Parud scene fully before jumping to the other characters.

Going to copy paste what i wrote in Sabs thread...

The episode was filmi but it was enjoyable, I was hoping to see a little more of them with their newfound situation..😳 on their way back, a little more of Paro-Rudra en route to home and very much together wouldn't hv hurt...i know I'm being greedy but cannot help with these two

The Major won her back against her vows...but it was bound to happen like he said, he would hv died without her...I see that as an admission of the fact that, he would hv retreated back to the worm hole in was in before...she brings life to him..and together they complete the other... Now they are a unit and together and hopefully ready to weather the storm that's headed their way. Is it too much to ask of an episode without the negatives? Like Paro had asked for in Mumbai, a day...can we go an episode? please creative gods, just give us one before you unleash hell...

The thing that struck me most apart from Paro-Rudra was this family as our favorite duo return home, here is this dysfunctional family trying to make it work despite their differences, the problems they hv had individually as well as a family...to make something...to be happy...and it does appear like things are finally headed in the right direction aftrr years..you get a sense that things r changing...relationships once severed are on the mend...everyone is making an effort...what right does Mala have to barge back in here and take away their smiles?

I'm trying not to judge Mala before they tell us her story but it seems so unfair on them...on him, for her to comeback when he is ready and willing to give life another chance.. Mala seems to utterly clueless about the destruction she has left behind, and seems stuck in time warp...

Hi!

I was just going to comment on how I agree 100% with your post, Laila and Mala both should end the way you said!

And yes exactly! I get that they're probably trying to balance out the episode but when I see more of side characters than I see of PaRud I get very irritated...and when I see them in between intense PaRud scenes...I just want to bang my head against the wall. It is beyond irritating!

Hi Spirit, Mala will draw out the last ounce of zeher from Rudra's life, leading to Major saying the magical words and consummating the marriage with Paro. And this is the only reason I am willing to put up with the upcoming melodrama knocking at the door.
Although, the romantic in me wanted a couple of episodes dedicated to this new declared dynamics of Parud relationship before the return of Mala. But considering the pace of RR, Mala will knock the moment Rudra is about the tie the new mangalsutra, thus leaving the task unfinished.

Sush, cant say how happy I am to see back to back posts from you. Was just about to make a post in yesterday's thread asking for your reaction to the episode...😊

Wonderful Post as ever... Awesome. Rudra was just being Rudra today and I loved him for that. The first few minutes of the episode were filmi, dramatic, emotional, high and dhamakedar. Did I ever say, I am in love with the stubbornness of these two. 😆

That was close to a confession but not a confession according to me. He told her, he wants her in his life forever or else he would die 👍🏼. That was awesome, sweet and as close to confession as we can get from our Major Saab right now🥳... Those three words are still a taboo to him and today's episode proved it. I feel Mala track has to end for Rudra to move on completely from his past and accept his love. What he has for Paro is Love, no doubt there but he is still not ready to accept it to himself that it is love... out of fear???? Maybe Or maybe out of his understanding of Love.

I loved few of his dialogues today... Few made me smile, while few made me emotional...👏 to the writers. When Paro ask, 'What are you doing?' He shouts back, "Seriously, Do I have to spell it out to you. Because I don't want you to leave me and go." That made me smile like crazy. He continues, "I will die if you leave me. There I said what you wanted to hear." (Major Saab, Paro not even in her dream would have thought you would do this or say these words. Don't blame it on her 😆) He doesn't stop at, "I can't live without you." He adds, "I don't want to live without you." This sentence has more impact than the first one for me... It is not that he can't live without her, he just doesn't want to live without her 😳. It is his choice to not live without her.

Then comes his awesome question, "You promised God that you will leave me. Now if your husband is asking you to come back. What does your promise ask you to do?" Now, now major saab, you must be a lawyer. Great question. No way Paro can counter that... That too with you standing on the tracks, I bet she can hardly think anything at that point 😉. She is perfectly trapped by you from all sides with no escape route. He counters her mannat and asks god that his wife must never leave him 👏. That he her husband he ask her back from her god and her promise... He wants to snatch her away from everything that was keeping her away from him or was threatening to take her away from him.😛

Loved how the CV's neatly handled the track. We humans forget that God never asks us anything than being a good human. It is we who created all these customs and we who try to live upto to those beliefs while even hurting ourselves in the process.

The cry of Paro when she thinks that Rudra is gone was mind blowing... Even though I knew that Rudra will be fine, for a second I was in pain with her. Sanaya was fantastic 👏... Very balanced acting there. Ashish was awesome... This guy is great with powerful dialogues👏... And luckily RR as some awesome dialogues for him... So it is a win win situation for the team, Ashish and us 😆

The hug... It burnt my screen... I loved how he held back till he confirmed it from her again about her promise to him... Or else he would have ran back to the tracks for sure...🤣. The hug was natural, pure, passionate, peace to their souls and full of love. (Now everyone, take a step back and think of the same hug when Rudra actually confesses his love... Drop dead passionate..Right?☺️) That hug of few seconds conveyed so many overflowing emotions of Rudra and Paro. Brilliantly acted and written. I still have few problems with direction and editing departments... so not much credit to them..

Loved the tight thug on Rudra's chest by Paro. It is a treat to watch their growing comfort. I would have killed my husband if he pulled such a stunt on me and on the other note, he would have killed me for running away from him or disappearing on him... So both are even I guess.😆

The scene where Rudra closes in on Paro, making her nervous and says, "Never." to leaving her hand was a beautiful end to the track.👏

Maithili was a tigress today... I hope that it is not just a passing phase and that it sticks with her. I want to see this courageous and strong Maithili. She is a awesome human being and deserves respect. Now, I wish Samrat also grows a spine soon and supports his wife 🤔. Rudra took blessings of his Bhabi Sa... and my first reaction was... Am I dreaming???? Our Banna sa is changing slowly... 😛 May be it was his way of thanking Mathili for telling him the truth and indirectly helping him in stopping Paro.

OMG! wrote a lot... Got reallly carried away... Please don't mind my typos.

Oops! almost forgot... Rudra talking to Maithili about Mangalsutra... The conversation was damn adorable and funny. "Bhabisa...", "Chai Cahiyae, Devargi sa", "Nahi, Woh...", "Nashta Lagavu...", "Bhabi Sa, Meri Baath tho Suniyae.." The first cute conversation of Bhabi and Devar 😆.

Shweta, Awesome collages...

Stepping out for a bit. Will catch you guys later... Thank You, to all those who liked and commented on my VM.🤗

What a wonderful post. Loved it! That's pretty much how I understood the episode, thanks for writing it down so beautifully.

My reaction, well this is what happened, I saw a new post on the main forum that said, Ashish new tweet about JDJ. My mind went- where is UR? Then I saw you had posted on the thread., I had a feeling it was about the tweet... I was like, I knew it!! 🤣 When I read it.

Ofcourse, I will watch it at the start. I cannot guarantee how long I will keep watching though. I'm curious about a few other participants as well. And if the Devi bhajan gets too strong😆, I will stop when it puts me off.

So yeah, bring it on
