Maha Sangam Left Me On the Sidelines. Sorry Colors. - Page 2

I am a follower of both shows.and I thoroughly enjoyed the Maha sangam.but, I felt there is a deviation from both stories to make this mahasangam.

It was a decent mahasangam episode .. Never followed BI.. But today i loved Zoya.. They were sweet.. From TRPs POV i think this is a smart move by colors.. If RR will rise in trps chart.. I will be happy as a Viewer..😊

LMAO ok this actually made me laugh out loud. Good thing my husband was not around to ask what the heck I was guffawing at! hahahaha. "Colors you just did that to me." hahaha. Too funny. Yes I think we all felt the same.

These kind of episodes are aired at every channel for boosting TRPs. Trust me the BI fans did not want this merger either.

The comments here about which couple had more "depth" are clearly uncalled for. As the TM said, you do not know that cousin. You might think she's really OTT when in real she's a very friendly person...so you're really just passing baseless judgements based on a 15 minute interaction with her.

Pray tell, how else are two people who have just confessed their love to each other just 12 hours ago supposed to behave? Zain Aliya have went through a pretty rough patch in their lives and this is a moment of bliss for them, as it would be for any couple out there. The couple is real and beautiful- a breath of fresh air from all the suffocatingly intense love stories which have been doing rounds lately.

Though I admit that energy scene was ultra cheesy and was SO un-ZaYa-ish. God forbid if the CVs ever show that again. I was perplexed for a moment but then realized it was just a build up for the PaRud scene where Paro holds Rudra's hand.

With that said, I do believe PaRud were really cute, especially with the beach scene and the Tum Paas Aaye song.

Thankfully the BI fans have been mature and have refrained from comparing both the couples. They can call their couple better too, but that would be like judging a book by its cover...or better yet, a whole love story by a 40 minute episode.

Thank you for saying what I was thinking before, during and after the episode. I didn't see the point of the merged episode and I'm sure fans of either show would have preferred seeing an extra half hour episode of their own favorite. I tried to watch BI when it first came out and it didn't click with me and perhaps the same happened for some BI fans too with RR so I really didn't appreciate this attempt by the channel for whatever reason. Anyway at the end of the day I got to see some awesome Paro and Rudra scenes and just that one scene of Paro playing in the water made the whole episode worth watching...Sanaya rocked it!!!

Common guys the whole point was that the couples were from two different worlds! One a modern educated couple living in a cosmopolitan city and the other was. A village not even a small town couple. So the take on how to express love and apparent display of affection will obviously different. I think it was displayed very nicely and he difference in the two couples was shown very well. The fact that you noticed it says it all. I don't follow Beintahaa but the could relate to the couple expressing their love. They are good in their setup of a Cosmo couple. They live life in a metro yaar !

I acknowledge their efforts...not sure of the reason...I don't follow BI...but RR story did not call for this at this point...they rushed sooo many events to catch up with the merger...rudra telling Paro about his mum was supposed to be high voltage...ese hi Uda diya...their journey to Mumbai would have more significance...even their Mumbai Darshan...the Mumbai dr quickly telling them the dr who can handle his case is back home...he had all his reports he could have told them the same thing over phone and saved them the trip to Mumbai...so that sceen was rushed too...all to fit the maha episode...

PS-I did feel uncomfortable like Rudra while the ither jodi wz romancing.
