Paro is caught between her head and her heart, both giving her conflicting signals.

---

Paro doesn't blame Rudra for his past.
She has emotionally hit rock bottom since the show started. .
She was never insecure even in the hate marriage because she was sure of her love and faith.
She was seeing small acts of care from him, she saw him smile, change.
With Laila's entry she is highly insecure, not about Laila but about herself.
She is angry at herself, feeling humiliated, sad.
She is so shaken that the promise to Bholenath does not even figure.
The core of her belief system is shaken and for the first time her faith is not giving her answers.
So she is turning to the object of her being, Rudra.
She want answers from him to help her, guide her.
She can handle Laila but not her own questions and doubts, which will not go away even if Laila does.
Laila is inconsequential and insignificant in her scheme of things right now.

Paro has been Rudra's strength when he was at his lowest point, when he lost his job and his mother's abandonment was coming back to haunt him. She held him , told him it would be ok.
She took responsibility to get his job restored.
Today Paro is at her lowest point. She is insecure, jealous, scared, and feeling humiliated.
It's now Rudra's turn to step in for her not just in action and through his eyes, but also through his words. She needs his assurance. Actions are important, but for a woman words are just as important...especially when the woman in question is hurting and insecure.

Paro restored Rudra's dignity and honor once
Today it's Rudra's turn to restore Paro's heart.

di as i already said there is no more beautiful and perfect an explanation to this situation than this to this complicated situation that is filled with love and insecurities..

just love how u explained it..

Very well written di! 😊
I must admit it, I was one of the people who had a prob understanding Paro's reactions earlier and have always had my complaints about the character. Since this track about Laila started I had been fervently wishing that this time we get some apt responses from her which I can relate to. And I was not disappointed!

Paro's reactions so far has been human enough. Well, it wasn't clear to me why she suddenly stated saying all the wrong things and sort of blaming Rudra for not loving her and I infact had to watch that part twice to get it right. It's really quite simple! Wat I felt was that the dream was a manifestation of her worst fears and the alternate ending was in a way the trigger factor for her, a story she thought she knew so well, with a happy ending turns into something totally different and she sees in it a similarity with her own life and gets scared - that was good job on CVs part!

The way Laila behaves and talks about him, and this is because she is truly and deeply in love with the man as well, it's sure to generate insecurities in Paro. She sees Laila loving him as deeply as her and sees him not reacting to that at all. And so the lover in her wonders if she'll also end up having the same fate? He says she is diff but he also doesn't exactly say why. He also says he can't love her. This leaves her confused, jealous and scared and in that weak state of mind, she blurted out the first thing that was troubling her, demanding an answer to the ques that has been driving her mad. That if he would ever be able to give her his heart. Only that would make their relationship different and give her the confidence in her love she is so badly yearning for. And that was too visible in her words yesterday.

Beautiful and emotional epi indeed. Was waiting for ur take!😊

P.S: I love how the characters in RR r not easy to understand. It makes gud fodder for my psych-analysis-loving mind 😆

aww me too totally agree with everything u said!! specially about the characters having layers and making them all the more interesting to read! cz i also make it a habit to try to get in to the head of the characters i watch in a show..

Paro is confused, worried, and insecure. All of these are alien emotions to her usual sorted placid nature.. So 2 contradictory emotions are coming forth from her due to this very reason!

n thank you :)

Exactly neha! (hope that is ur name dear :)
and indeed when Paro is giving the very human emotions and seeking comfort and reassurances from the man around whom all her insecurities circle.. its more than natural!
