Well you see your partner in pain, and you get pretty emotional yourself...and then you look out for your partner and he or she just starts saying stuff to challenge your looking out for them...

would you

1) reply in the heat of the moment

2) say "ok pause for a moment", drag him or her to your room and then say "ok now continue"

These days Rudra does the second option. But so far whenever he's done that he was put together...in this episode he got pretty emotional seeing Paro emotional and so replied in the heat of the moment.

Also, Rudra has said terrible stuff to Paro in front of the Ranawat family plenty of times. But he was a jaanwar and so that was not surprising at all (although still disgusting)...now he is changing and this change is visible when he takes Paro to their room to talk whenever he feels a disagreement is coming on...

You might say, if Rudra can get emotional and say something in the heat of the moment, why can't Paro? Well, Paro can. And she did. But it doesn't suit her characterization. She has always been shown as a sensible, wise character...so when she does stuff like this it does not look good for her character. The best thing for her to have done was to walk away/run away in tears and Rudra could have followed her and they could have had their little spat in private. Simply put, I have always expected better from her.

I can almost understand bursts of anger in public between friends or even between an unmarried couple. But marriage is very sensitive and a private, sacred union between two people and...

I personally believe that after marriage one should never broadcast their problems with their partner for the whole world to see. Nothing good ever comes out of it. People can and will only take advantage of the problems they see in your life. And in RR this is happening. Laila and Kakisa are taking advantage of Parud's open problems.

Knowing Paro's character I would have expected her to put on a front in front of people she knows do not mean well for her e.g. Kakisa, even Laila. I thought she would keep her problems private and would in front of the whole world act as normal as she can get simply because it's nobody's business what's going on between her and Rudra right now. But what she's doing now...she's basically serving Laila opportunities on a gold plate to hurt her and Rudra...why does she have to fight with Rudra in front of that woman...why can she not put Laila in her place and show her that no matter what is going on between her and her husband, they are still husband and wife and so will respect each other and will not let anyone come in between them...

Paro dissected her love life in public view today and I did not like it. If Rudra does it tomorrow I will also not like it - because I expect better from him too now, though I never held him in as high regard as I held Paro.

Just my opinion.

This time I think it was quite acceptable for Paro to voice her questions in public - given the situation.
She was looking forward to a story where the queen wins in the end and is happy - so she is distraught when the story turns. She is so upset that she cannot control herself and voices the questions to Rudra in public. I rather like this Paro - who is not perfect - but human. I hope Laila's role in the story turning comes out tomorrow.
I loved todays episode and the dance was well co-ordinated and executed. I don't see much appreciation in the forum though. This group seems hard to please lately.

She wants the 9th marriage vow to reverse the 8th vow. 😃

Besides, what did she say that she can't say in front of her family. After all Laila had said things at the dinner table when she first came to the haveli and rubbing in the fact that Rudra has known her a long time...and she is planning to do some more tomorrow.

Good for Parvati. I am with her!!!!

Omg yes i totally agree with this!! Why is she always airing out their issues in front of everyone else?? Don't get this because it's so not like Paro.

Z, I agree that married couple need to solve their problem in private. But sometimes people get carried away. I saw many happily married couple get into a heated argument before their children, parents, friends and such. Sometimes for silly reasons. People act or react according to their moods, emotions, situations and so on. When pulled into an extreme situation humans react and do unpredictable things.

Paro is sensible, yes. She normally would never do such thing. But now she is under extreme pain. She is emotionally very weak. When a person goes through some thing very painful, excruciating, life changing... it is hard for them to act rationally. It is not even a day since she learned the truth. She needs time to heal.
She is a strong women but not today. Today she was vulnerable, weak and lost. Hope I made sense. 😊
